  1. Gunsmithing? Or playing a musical instrument. You probably have the basic skills already. My condolences, my intestinal problems have taken me out of the game for awhile.
  2. Will there be more than 14 bays/stages available? There are plenty of Level II matches of 14-15 stages within a days drive. To fly across the country for a three day National Championship I would hope for 18-21 stages at least.
  3. I’m happy with the TEP 100 for over 5 years, selection of plug sizes for near custom fit, recharges in the case, lasts all day. A lot cheaper than +1k custom molded plugs, no more headaches from ear muffs. I do add muffs for indoor matches just because some open guns 3M PELTOR EEP-100 Ear Plug Kit, Rechargeable, Noise Reduction, Construction, Manufacturing, Maintenance
  4. Like the Lok grips one? https://benstoegerproshop.com/brass-weapon-mounted-light-by-lok-grips/ Do you have a link for the Toni? What holster do you use?
  5. You must have huge hands, my support pinkie wraps around my strong hand and comes nowhere near the magwell. Picture is with the Taylor Freelance brass extension. If you need to feel something you can add tape or otherwise modify the mag extension all you want - you just can’t modify the frame.
  6. Anybody else get this notification from Beelow? Link was 404… M2.0 Brass Backstrap Gauging how many people would purchase a brass backstrap for a full size M2.0. The expectation is that it would add 7-8oz. I have begun talking with L... Go to this Topic
  7. Mark Housel at https://www.landmprecisiongunworks.com did a great job on my Shield (put a Shield RMS on my Shield) but seems to be unable to do do machining presently… sigh
  8. They will break eventually see my post I just bought several assemblies from Midwest Gun Works now I have backups on hand.
  9. I use an original Deltapoint on my COREs and I only need to clean after a match or practice. I use packet wipes, clean my glasses then the little bit of fouling on the lense.

  11. After about 25k rounds I had intermittent FTEs that no amount of magazine fiddling fixed. Did a complete teardown after a big match and found the slide release spring (right photo) had broken. Apparently captured in place it allowed the catch to bounce and stop the slide about once per stage. Smacked the magazine and it fed but cost enough time to finish second by 1% point. The left one in the photo is from my backup gun (20k+) and carefully bending restored function. I have two on order from MGW. Anyone seen this before? What else can I be surprised at breaking? (I do have a complete set of parts at home).
  12. I’ve heard it’s equivalent to Winchester Super Field (WSF) https://americanreloading.com/en/reloading-pistol-powder/3047-mp-190-smokeless-pistol-powder-6-lbs.html
  13. Who’s making good holders for 586 Comp III speedloaders? my old safariland triple holders are getting floppy.
  14. This message going out to all the RO staff for the Area 2 match. Our timeline is short for the match and we are still short about 20 RO staff to fully implement the match as planned with 2 2-day format schedules. If you know anyone who would be interested in helping out and is somewhat flexible in their work vs shoot days or could work all 4 days please encourage them to sign up as soon as possible. There are 15 stages plus chrono so there is a big need for RO's able to work the stages and keep things moving. Thanks again for your volunteering and any additional help you can get us.
