  1. went with the dawson gap here from the techwell so i can use the slim grips for a more boxy feel. I went with the gap as I dont want to replace basepads to have go gap showing
  2. with the look oh his face in the picture it looks like someone made it in the proam
  3. I know the feeling, just like my college days. I'm still freaking out, I haven't heard squadouche. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk
  4. which kinda gun you running it in
  5. I have never met any of my supervisors and its probibally for the best.
  6. what kind of 12ga guns did you have? For shotguns the heavier the gun, the less the recoil. Another thing that helps is gas gun over recoil operated. Light 1oz loads work well in the 12ga as well. A good 1100 which is a heavier gas operated gun with 1 oz loads and a good recoil pad will go along way in your shooting comfort. the benelli is light, recoil operated and typically needs a little hotter loads to cycle. I have a 1100 that will spit out 1oz and 7/8 oz loads all day long
  7. not loctite, superglue lol. Thats wat I did was acetone and a brush to remove it. It was all over the bottom of the site to the point of the bottom not being level, slide etc. It is now installed correctly with loctite and tightened properly. The rear sight also has superglue all over the sides of it but its still on the gun for now at least lol
  8. dont have one and have actually just looked at getting one. probibally will try an open gun first to see how I like it but figure that might be the way to go for someone who likes to target focus more than sight focus from my past shooting
  9. I know the matchmaster comes with the recoil master but does it also run on a std guiderod/spring system. Looking to get a gun for major for some uspsa and minor for Steel
  10. Got my hands on a friends slide who used superglue to keep the front sight from loosening up on a glock. Well guess what, it loosened up on him. Just got done removing the superglue from the area (what a mess) degrease and install the front sight correctly where it wont come out. How fun

    Gen3 Magwell

its replaceble on the heavy not the superheavy
  12. +1 on a member or pay an extra few bucks a match to Idpa. I would not have a problem with that. Will I ever shoot IDPA much? not a chance. Being a pay or don't shoot like it is now, I will take my money elsewhere to the uspsa matches. I agree what their 1 and join does is eliminates the crossover people who might occasionally dabble in the other sport a couple times a year. 40 bucks over a coule matches pretty much doubles the entry fee. USPSA I have zero problem with the dues as that is the one I typically shoot 3 matches or so a month(maby more) in.
  13. get a whole new main spring housing. Might be a good time to upgrade to a dawson magwell
  14. Would anyone want to shoot it in semi? I would probibally shoot it on semi over full auto if I were shooting it. If its that valuable of a gun ie transferrable I would leave it off the stage. If it were say a post sample go for it. But if the timer is running, I doubt you will have people treat the gun very gental. Its just like people do with a rental car. Don't put anything out there you cant afford to get used and abused because someone will do it.
  15. The money situation wouldnt really change for the national organization. Those who shoot IDPA, are classified will still pay the dues to be members. Those who MIGHT shoot a match or 2 a year won't pay it either way. Thats the same boat im in with others I know who are asically USPSA members who will never shoot a major,or more than maby 1 or 2 IDPA matches a year. Shot my one match after having a couple USPSA matches canceled due to weather and just wanted to shoot something and figured that was better than nothing. Would I pay 40 bucks for a year to maby shoot another one not a chance. Would I shoot another match or 2 in the year if I didn't have to? more than likely. The local club looses out on money for those couple matches. So the national organization neither gained nor lost anything because I would have no intent of joining either way.
  16. you can always part the gun out. the frame will go for roughly 200 or so. Get say 75-100 for the barrel and your into the slide with 3 mags for around 100-125
  17. Who said not to follow the rules. If you don't like the rules, go shoot and spend your hard earned money else where. Pretty simple. Exactly AT. If they don't want the local club to take my money then I will spend it elsewhere which I do. Its not like 40 bucks is that much especially if spread over several matches. But when your looking at shooting a couple matches a year its just not worth it.
  18. Thats why I will stick to USPSA. Shot my 1 IDPA match out of bordem since the weather was nice and missed alot of uspsa so went to shoot something. No interest in paying 40 bucks a year for something I may shoot locally a couple times. With the rule, I think they hurt the local clubs by turning away the occasional shooter.
  19. Which coupon did you have?
