  1. with lighter hammer spring i've been geting light strikes!!! if its for trainning and they are inexpensive then maybe.
  2. packaging like that aint cheap make me think......... why? they are a bit pricey....... and your 147 grn bulllets really arent 147 grn???? 150 or more????
  3. clean gun first re do push test with each different bullet. re assess coal i recently had issues when i messed around and backed crimp off a hair. so id re assess that. less than 1/8 turn and had issues check bullet concentricity, roll and observe id also revist, reset die set up i dont think making longer cartridge is answer did you change recoils spring , or any other parts recently? do rounds plunk and spin ok? do problem children plunk ok? try different mags sling shot, or hitting release? mark bad bullets..... do they still jam in when not 1st bullet. did you measure the bad children causing jams is there a trend to what brass is jamming? does factory ammo also have same issue? did you check sized case legnth? sammi max is 1.169! are you using FCD if nothing is wrong with cartridge then move on to other diagnostics 9mm is more finicky compared to .45 is texasref even care from 27 jjune
  4. im aware of the 85 trigger and replacment and still stay production legal i think the rules states you interchange a part as long as it is from another production gun im wondering it the flat trigger from another model will work in sp-01 decocker i think the trigger may be modified as long as it not visible so is it possible get a stock flat trigger from another model to work in a SP01 tactical? has anyone done this? lets say stock flat trigger has non visible modification and functions will it still fall into production class?

  7. repetitive stress injuries!!!!!! it could be anything........ break up movments with breaks with different movments break up repition frequent repitions instead of 50 moves of anything DO 10 -15 then change drill. 10 reps holster to shot dry fire drill surrender position 10 back to target 10 transitions to low port , dry fire 10 kettle bell swings 10 sit ups 10 draw transition to weak hand , dry fire 10 right hand only dry fire 5 box drills 5 forward windmills, 5 backwards , 5 atlas stretch each leg, 10 air squats, 10 reps r/l hand exerciser, shoulder mobilty exercises (google band/brrom stick shoulder mobilty), wrist mobilty exercise/stretch..... go pet the cats, spend 5 minutes on face book laod 20 rounds .........later rinse repeat... be creative have fun do you get the idea? there is alot science behind but its also as easy as changing it up always try and maintain good, and neutral body mechanics as often as possible, check your posture frequently, activate core. thing is break up mutiple any repetive action but try and break it up movment to be as dissimmilar as possible learn how to roll/myofascia self release/ use a theracane trade hand massages with partner if it hurts stop scale movments to ability if youy have previous injuries consult a professional before.....
  8. Yeah what he said. ^^^^^^^ If you google 1911 firing pin stop radius. You'll see a lot of opinions, techniques and some data regarding. I felt some difference with slide modification...... I did feel more difference before and after with 125 grn bullets both factory and hand load. I'll add tuning a handload to recoil spring. Made huge difference. (In my case 147 grn bullet ). Ymmv What I'm getting at...... Radiusing or changing angle helps. But the combination tuning hammer spring, recoil spring, bullet weight, powder, smoothing action etc etc. ........... It starts to turn into night and day!! It's gets to the point where you'll hear reloaders/ shooters extolling the value of + or - .2 grains in perceived recoil / muzzle flip.
  9. I just realized I've been registered since 2007 and have never introduced myself Just returned to regular handgun shooting after a few year layoff. It's my intent to eventually start gaming. Of some sort. I'm learning / relearning the fundamentals I realize how spoiled I am shooting a tuned (ish) 1911. I just bought a stock cz sp-01, my first double action. I reload .308.223 .45 and now 9 mm I also like bladed weapons / tools I Used to shoot Olympic style target archery My formal firearms training is courtesy of Uncle Sam and the U.S. Army.
  10. Welcome I'm in Jax also. Hit me up if u have reload ?'s. Loaded lots of precision .308. Now loading more .223 .45 and 9mm
  11. Does the newer Laserlyte pro stick out so far with 9mm that it will affect draw from holster, blade tech doh style holster? I'm assuming little to no interference with larger bore .45 ??? Anyone....... Anyone....... Beuhler....... Anyone......... Older version is bore specific (ish) and is loaded chamber side. similar post went unanswered....... somebody has got to be using one of these....
  12. I'm surprised no one mentioned "Pinch grip lifts" Easy as grabbing a 45 # plate and standing. Or 2..... Now try the same with 2 25# plates ** Now try 2- 5 10# plates Smooth sides out.. In this range you can add wrist ROM, And add front lateral/side raises, with different hand positions Simple and cheap from used sporting goods store. The dowel one is good to add degree of difficulty try with larger diameter dowel or pvc. Favorite grip training, ....... Rock climbing gym!!!
  13. What's your push test with this bullet?
