vince, i like your post. you correct about not watching the feet. i was taught that the score keeper was in charge of watching foot faults and the ro watches the gun. also, you are correct if the competitor is static, shooting an array, such as a "texas star, a oklahoma donut, or a texas windmill", the show can be very entertaining. lynn

Varsol lingers and lingers and.....for days.

jim, match magic is a excel spread sheet with macros and visual basic that imports the data from the palm and let's you print and display the results for the web and distribution. lynn

i'm very pleased with my grips for the STI. lynn

jim, we use the palm scoring system at our club. i bought 4 palms and a portable printer. i have printed out the scores the same day. the great thing about the PSS is that it spread the stats job over several squads and not just one person. the club members are so use to using the palms now, that they want to get rid of the paper back up system. we shoot 7 stages and have 3 squads. i have the results posted to the clubs website usually before 10:00 am the next day. lynn p. s. some people just have issues with the system and the developer of the program.

hi ivanhu, first where in the rule book does it say you can't walk in front of a loaded gun? sweeping intails having your hand on the gun. will the gun go off by its self? granted, it doesn't seem safe and the course of fire is tricky. in real life, you keep a loaded gun in a glove compartment of your car or trunk, a desk drawer, or in your pocket. why do you think this is unsafe? i think your DQ was wrong.
