  1. I hear that the Kenton, OH Police Department has a pretty good team. It only has one guy on the team though.
  2. Yes. I use an empty primer package, the plastic piece with all of the holes in it. I place it on top of the new package and carefully flip the entire unit over being sure to keep everything aligned. I then "smooth" the primers out with my finger, so that they are "primer side up". Then I place a piece of wood on top of the flipped primers, I use a clipboard, and then flip the board and primers over. If everything works our, you should have all the primers ready to be picked up in a perfect square shape. Does that make any sense?
  3. Nothing you want to do to it? You say that as if it were a bad thing. If the gun runs, why would you even consider changing anything? That is a really sweet looking gun. Congrats on a great purchase.
  4. Compare the prices and you'll see that Shooter's Connection is the only way to go. Add the fact that their customer service is outrageously awesome and it is a complete no brainer.
  5. This stuff makes my face and my dome silky smooth! I have been using it since Christmas. Good stuff!
  6. I would like to shoot a Cowboy match, in the outfit and everything, but still use 3gun gear They would have to change the name to Broke Back Mountain Mystery 3 Gun.
  7. Only two...I'd pick up "Refinement & Repetition" by Steve Anderson and "With Winning In Mind" by Lanny Bassham. To be honest with you, I found Brian's book hard to digest the first time through. However, after spending a few years in the game and re-reading it few times, it finally made sense to me. It is a great book and if you ask really nice when you order it, Brian will sign it for you.
  8. Some lucky folks don't need to put the mower in the shed for a few months. The grass is always growin' somewhere.
  9. Our host doesn't want it discussed on his forum. PM inbound...
  10. Good job! Only eight points down? You need to start hosing some targets brotha!
  11. I use Post-It notes. It is kinda boring, but it seems to work.
  12. It's a tool. Tools get beat up when you use them. It will be okay! Is it just kydex skid marks that can be buffed off?
  13. As per usual, a "reality" show generates the perfect United Colors of Bennetton ad. This season should be another snooze-fest.
  14. My M1 from 1943 has a very well worn bore and still shoots great groups at 100 yards.
  15. Just throw that one behind the truck seat and buy a nice used 11-87. One can never have too many 870's. One for each vehicle I always say.
  16. I had the same problem with some of mine. I hit them with a wire brush on my Dremel and put some Cold Blue on them.
  17. I don't shoot a lot of 3-gun, but have had some trouble with my 18.5" cylinder bore knocking down poppers at 20 yards. I was using 1oz. of #6. I am pretty sure that cylinder bore is not ideal for the game. ETA: Just buy a new barrel. Don't f-up a nice Wingmaster.
  18. Pull the tool head off and dump it back into the powder container.
  19. Pfffttttt...they were cool for the first hundred years but not so much anymore.
