  1. For that setup, L10 or L depneding on your mags, not production legal, your 19 isn't production legal either with the grip.
  2. Great point LeRoy. I should have prefaced my point by say at a local match. I know there are many who will give me grief about that, but I feel the benefits of helping "new" shooters enjoy the sport and have their successes far outweighs the negatives. Disclaimer for new shooters: At major match, be prepared to take your lumps. If you come to Bend to shoot a local match our RO's will make sure you are safe, score your targets fairly (perfect doubles count as Alpha/Mike), watch for penalties, and make sure you have a safe/fun time. If you have a potential habit that may become an unsafe habit, we will take you to the side and inform you of that for your own and our safety. We here to to make sure this is a safe/fun sport. Since this is the Hate Forum maybe I should have just said I hate losing potential shooters because they feel overwhelmed and are embarrased by making silly mistakes.
  3. Get the new one with the accessory rail, High cool factor
  4. Hmmm, two sides to this one. Question for Jeeper: Say I'm roing you or you lovely friend and I see that you neglected to "load" at the LAMR command. Say there is no mag in you gun and there should be, would you consider it insulting for the RO to suggest that you might want to consider stickin' a mag in your gun? Or would that be considered being too nosey? The way I tend to see it is that some people get a bit worked up before they start a stage and especially newer shooters might appreciate an occasional bit of "help" from an RO. Now telling any shooter "how to shoot" any stage isn't right in my book as an RO, but there are some safety issues and other stuff that could make the shooting experience better.
  5. I just transfered the site, so it might take a bit longer to make the changes to the routing tables (or so I was told ) please try again later
  6. Here Thanks to Rob B for the help
  7. I think this is simple, if you are afraid of someone seeing your results, register an fake name when you sign up for the match (ala Cowboy Action) ie. Crusty the Clown. Problem fixed, simple, cheap, easy.
  8. Why practice draws at 3 paces? You have to aim at ten yards so it takes longer and is different draw. Draws at 15 are the ticket in my book. If you can get 1.1's every time you don't need work on your draw. You read alot, is all of it true? .8's are hard to believe unless you are shooting open. It is VERY hard to aim a limited gun in .8 at 10 yards. Just my 2 cents
  9. Is there a decent place to host videos at little (free?) or no cost? I would like to be able to hot link also, thanks.
  10. When you have prepared your skills, you have to simply be aware and you training will take over and guide your actions.
  11. Sti's heavy recoil master is the easier to rack with the most spring protection for a .40 - .45. It takes a bit to get used to but it works well for me.
  12. I borke every part on mine except the main shaft, but Dillon replaced everyone, no charge For the price you can't beat it, but I wouldn't give up my 1050 till they pried from my cold dead hands
  13. hmmm, I get mine at the grocery store.
  14. I never bothered to count that high, and never done that many at a time , but if you focus on just doing them you can do a lot of them in a row once you learn to relax and just do them. The ubber fast ones are where you get yourself all tense and miss them, and ubber fast reloads are cool, but seldom need in match conditions.
  15. Thanks Bob! I knew someone would come through Placed an order.
  16. ... and you don't have to pick up prizes for anything other than 1st so less crap in the garage
  17. Perfect Mistakes are what chap my hide, not getting the sight picture I know I need. Seldom do I ever get more than I need, but the not enough, arrrgggg.
  18. Congrats Erik, now get your butt on the next list I got bumped off the top 10 list, don't think I'll ever make the top 10 on the next list unless they make a new list.
  19. If you win your class, you're generally ready to compete in the next class Just my observation. Personally, I always found it more fun to be comepeting against people of more skill than those with less skill, but that's just me.
  20. You mean M class as soon as your class catches up to the way you're shooting that Glock
