    Which one?

Neither! My Wife, 5:15, or Just A Quick One I like Nights With Alice, but for sheer range and strangeness, Bowie. Blizzard or Peanut Buster Parfait?
  2. I hope one day to see the Infamous Blue Glock That was one of the most positive stories on this sport i have ever seen. You guys obviously made a good impression.
  3. I just got in from work, and see that I have alot of homework to do. Thanks for the directions! Bullets getting harder with age? Man, intriguing minds want to know! My Dads Grandfather, my Great-Grandfather, had a gun shop in Indio CA up until I was about six or seven. I remember vividly my Father pouring lead from a pot into these square blocks with handles and some kind of latch. I know he was casting bullets, I think they were wadd cutters. I remember also sitting on my Dads lap watching him put the bullets through the device that puts lube into the grooves. Is this still as messy as I remember? Off I go to bed, thanks again, Ill get to this Friday after work. Thanks again!
  4. Interesting, could be a potential answer to the stray dog/cat problem though.
  5. My Father is convinced that Pres. Obama will take all guns and ammo off the shelves etc. THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL THREAD! He has informed me that he will be sending me all I need to mold 9mm, 10mm/.40, .44 spl, .45, and he said more. While not initially excited about the thought of casting bullets, I am beginning to get curious. This usually leads to my liking something as I love making things, especially things I can make well. So.... If you found yourself in this same predicament, what sources would you go to concerning the how-tos on bullet making. I have an area picked out in my back yard that is seclued and has good ventilation, power and water. I even have some lead already. (Diving weights that my boss was throwing out) Also, what about making jacketed bullets? Molycoating your own? Just throwing this out there as it was kind of thrust upon me and there is no changing his mind once he is set on something. Thanks, JZ

    Which one?

TL +1 FWIW. Neither, serranos and Hungarians. Better to cook with. Thai food or Chinese?
  10. I live in the desert, and it is usually over 100F in my garage until about 8 or 9. I take the brass out of the tumbler, load a dozen primer tubes, set the radio to anything at low volume and get going. I run my brass through the U-die and tumble one night and then load the next. I really like reloading. It is that all alone time that I can just veg and listen to the completed rounds falling into the plastic bin. I check them for consistency and high primers when I transfer them from the bin into ammo boxes. I am proud of the quality of my reloads. They are shiny, shoot well in my pistols, and I know that they have been QC'd more than necessary. I can do all that while listening to whatever, just don't ask me to tell you what I have been listeneing to , 'cause my focus is on reloading. JZ
  11. Not one friend of mine that was a vegan in college is still a vegan. Sorry folks, but I will be un-pc and say, for the record, IT'S SO LAME!! BBQ is the #1 legal drug that I will perscribe myself at every chance. If I lived in India, they would put a bounty on my head after I ate the local pet one too many times.
  12. When I ogle, there is a little bit of shame, but boy do I still OGLE!! I'm not old yet, but I already got dirty covered
  13. CONGRATULATIONS!! I am sure you know what you are doing having had one already. My only advice is remember as much as you can. They grow quickly! Beautiful girl there
  14. Thanks again! I just started taking out my M1A and trying to get used to it. Saw this thread earlier and didn't want to try that technique. I was afraid to try it when I went out to the shop. Your explanation is very descriptive, I'lll let you know how it goes! Muchos gracias
  15. The song is called "I Don't Know Why" When I heard it I had to immediately grab my amp and guitar and try and hammer this thing out this morning. It will be weeks before I can play it with any proficiency, but it will be worth it. I like that when you hear it you can see Jaggers' mouth next to the mic in your minds eye. The way he gets close to the mic and twists the vocals is just too classic. Really like the solo, too bad it's at the end of the song. I think this was a b-side or something that was thrown on the record at last minute to fill in. Still it is a great gem in their catalog. Have you heard it and what do you think? JZ Also have been listening alot to Guided By Voices, Fatso Jetson, and Radioheads The Bends CD.

  17. Ben, as we say here in SoCal, Dude you were smokin' those stages! Awsome, thanks for sharing and congratulations! JZ
  18. CSEMARTIN, If you get it, do you want to do one of my HiPowers? The add says it'll do it. Just had to ask, JZ
  19. What about...... Making box A a barricade, placing barrels or no shoots strategically to limit the angles on the middle targets and eliminating that box C. Also stipulating the three center targets in the last array be shot through the port and placing a limit line at the far end, right, adjecent to the barricade prohibiting movement past it. Just my .02
  20. Bingo Jack! He slid the mag with his right hand into the pistol and smoothly ( and quickly!) picked up the pistol and racked the slide. His left hand was palm open on its side steadying the pistol or providing resistance to allow the mag to seat. I asked him about it after and he said that way his left hand is already there to rack the slide as he lifts the pistol with his right hand. Hose away! Sure was cool to watch.
  21. At our local stock gun match Saturday, i saw a shooter do something I've never seen before. The stage started with gun unloaded on table, and all mags on table. Three arrays of three targets, reload mandatory between arrays. This shooter laid his pistol grip facing right, with his first mag four inches (about) to the right of pistol, in line with magwell. On signal, he just slid QUICKLY his mag into the gun as it was layng on its side, lifted the gun, racked the slide and started shooting. This was WAY faster than anythind else I've seen, It was cool to watch too! Anyone else do this also? JZ Thanks Flex for moving this

These people get me what I ordered in a quick and efficient manner. ( E-mails as to order status and all) Thanks EGW!
  23. +1 for Norco! That club and its sister club run a match every weekend. I will definitely go back again. Welcome to the forums and to me current addiction
  24. Glockworld just sent me an e-mail that most Glocks were going on sale or are on sale for $440.00. With two and FFL fees that should put you under $1200.00. That leaves you enough to get rigs and even a used Square Deal reloader. Wish I had a couple of grand!
  25. I just picked up 1000 Bear Creek coated 125 LRNs for 45.00. Is that high? What did you used to pay say three years ago? That is cheaper than I paid for 1000 uncoated 125s last April from Powder Valley. I find that I'm getting better prices now that I have a group of reloaders looking out for me when they are out shopping components. (as I am for them) I get that call every two weeks, "Hey Jimbo, I found some_______ for $_______ Do you want me to pick you up some?" This has helped us all keep our costs down. JZ
