  1. Go for it. Get a stock TruBor. That way if for some reason you don't like shooting open you won't have a problem selling it. If you find out you really enjoy open then you can get a true custom built and keep the TruBor for a backup or sell it.
  2. I load all my 223, for shooting out to 650yds., on my 650 with case feeder. Have no problems with consistency or accuracy. If your loading for an AR make sure to case gauge all your loaded rds. Good luck.
  3. Safariland 771's on ELS setup for 3-gun and CR Speed for pistol only matches.
  4. 17lb. main spring and 10lb. recoil spring with a unlightened slide. Shooting 124gr. MGJHP and 6.9 grns. of WAC. 170 to 172PF.
  5. Outstanding match. Challenging but doable. Great RO's and staff. Scott and Doug did a great job. Can't wait til next year. Thanks for a great time.
  6. Welcome and good luck with your shooting. Always remember to have fun with your new sport. Follow this forum and you will learn a lot.
  7. You don't need to give them anything, just be nice to them. If it wasn't for the NRA we might not have this forum or our shooting sports.
  8. You can't beat Dillon products and their no BS guarantee. They have the best Tech Support in the industry. They also are super supporters of the shooting sports. When you decide to buy Dillon, buy from Brian, he'll steer you right.
  9. I ordered mine from MGM with wheels. The front two turn for steering and the back two just follow. Makes it super easy for me to move rack around by myself, or tow behind my quad.
  10. We will be putting on a 2-gun match May 18th at 5-Dogs Action Shooters in Bakersfield. Handgun and rifle or handgun caliber carbine. Match starts at 9:am. Hope to see you there.
  11. Welcome home. Hope to shoot with you at SLOSA, Morro Bay,and 5-Dogs,Bakersfield. Also CCPL,Fresno.
  12. I've used Nitro 100 for the last 18yrs. in both my P-14 and my S/S. Start at 4.0Grs. and work from there. Good Luck.
  13. Winchester and Tula Sm. Rifle, nary a problem. Good Luck.
  14. 30-35 a year including USPSA,IDPA,3-Gun,carbine,and shotgun matches. Matches are from 30min. to 2.5hrs. away.
  15. Go with the MG's. May not be the cheapest but they are consistantly the best IMHO. Good luck.
  16. I would go with the 650. It gives you more versitility, easier to change calibers, and if you decide to get out of reloading resale is really good. Call Brian and talk to him, he'll set you straight. When you decide, call Brian and order from him, he'll take very good care of you. Good luck.
  17. You and me to. The trimming, swaging, chamfering, and primer pocket reaming, I hate it all. But compared to buying new ammo, I'll do it.
  18. I've used the Guba Ribas for 5+ years and love it. Easy to draw from and very secure. Good luck.
  19. I use only WSRP's for all my small primer loads. Never had a problem in anything including my STI or my SV's. All have standard firing pins. Good luck.
