  1. I really like how Kingman put this in the "humor" forum
  2. Congrats Alan ! A fine accomplishment indeed. Now, try and start a thread that is so against the rules that it get's deleted. On second thought, maybe not.....
  3. If I shot more 3-gun, I'd take a look at the Beretta Extrema.
  4. I'm not a huge B-Day fan but it beats the alternative Have a festive day everyone. Even if it is not your birthday
  5. On a budget ? Try WST Money less of a concern ? VV N320 I think the VV meters a little better so when you are trying to get consistent loads where the charge is light, the VV will be more consistent.
  6. +1 If it will chamber the rounds, they are sized. Difficulty extracting is a classic sign of too hot a load.
  7. When I use to pick up brass, I shot nickle plated only, same hesadstamp. Easy to distinguish from everyone else. I'd load all 1000 then shoot all 1000. Reload. Once I started seeing problems I put it he entire batch in practice only bin and start over. Since swicthin to 9x19, I rarely shoot new brass - once fired mostly and never pick it up.
  8. As I read the title of the thread, I thought "Para". Anyone else have the same feeling?
  9. Listen, I don't mean to be a sore loser, but when it's done, if I'm dead, kill him.
  10. "rather"????? I believe he meant " Really" not "Rather"
  11. Harris. Period. Check E-Bay or classifieds on AR15.com for a deal from time to time.
  12. You crack me up  Reloads, weak hand, strong hand and know where the gun shoots from 1 - 35yds for those pesky head shots and tight no-shoots that seem to be so popular these days. BTW, what platform ( Glock, XD, CZ ) does your "friend" plan on shooting ?
  13. I think that the way it is set up, where your only shot is basically a 180, is not good course design.
  14. That was a great movie. I really liked the lemon tree ritual he had. I don't know if it is still there, but the bike was on display in Pomona, CA at the NHRA musuem last fall.
  15. Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later ---------

  17. I tried it once without the ratchet. I put it back. Did not like the feeling. As far as mods, I have ditched the spent primer cup in favor of the cut off 223 case with tubing instead. Old primers go strait to the trashcan.
  18. I think you will like that load alot. PF is just fine, even out of a 16". Try both bullets, mine likes the SMK's but not the Hornady or Nosler.
  19. I had a reason to be in LA awhile ago. I stoped in to see their operation and was impressed. I have known several people that bought them and had no problems. That being said, I did not see any difference between them and the Cannon safes. Since Cannon has a better warranty, that is who I went with.
  20. What did you want to know? Just the name ? "primer pocket reamer / uniformer" web site is http://www.matchprep.com/
  21. Best - Dillon Pump Easiest - Hornady One Shot For Rifle cases I really like the Dillon. I have never had a stuck case w/Dillon. Even using SB RCBS dies. My issue with it is makes a mess. It is lanolin in alcohol. Alcohol evaporates and lanolin lubes. The case feeder and tube on my Dillon need to be cleaned more often than with Oneshot.
