Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Legal as long as the gun with mag inserted fits in the "box" Thanks very much for the quick answer. Forgive me for asking dumb question #2, but, what "box" do you mean?
  2. Sorry if this has been written of before -- I can't seem to find it. Are magwells a permitted modification to the Single Stack division? I can't see a specific prohibition of it in the rule book, bit someone I know insists it's illegal when shooting traditional 8 round, major power factor single stack. Thanks for any guidance.
  3. I recently bought a Benelli M1 Super 90. I came with an extended tube. If I were to put a 3 round limiter in the tube, am I then permitted to put a pistol grip stock on the gun?
  4. What's the best way to pull the bullets? I've never gotten the hang of that hammer type tool.
  5. +1 If it will chamber the rounds, they are sized. Difficulty extracting is a classic sign of too hot a load. It chambers, but I noticed that it jams it in pretty good whereas factory loads slip in and out easily enough. Funny, I was certain that I was using a mid range load for .308.
  6. I reloade a bunch of .308 Win. The problem is that the cartridge is too thick at the base, near the primer. The rounds fire, but the spent brass will not eject because it is stuck in the chamber. Can I use my Dillion 550 to resize the loaded rounds? If not, what can I so with 100 loaded rounds? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. As you wrote -- it has been very hard lesson, and a difficult 24 hours.

    Ad's

I've been shooting IPSC for about a year. I was DQ'd over the weekend for an AD. It the first time for both. It was stupid and careless, made worse by the fact the shot went over the berm. I hung around for a half an hour to see if the cops showed up praying it didn't hit someone. The point is that to say I was embarassed and humiliated doesn't even begin to describe how I feel 24 hour later. My question to the forum -- I have been told that this happens even to the veterans from time to time, and I have seen one veteran do it, but that's it and part of me is saying that if I am so bad after one year of doing this that I can make a mental mistake like that, perhaps I should take up golf. I'd appreciate hearing from some of the veterans here. If you want to call me an idiot who brings disgrace to the sport, feel free to, though I've already called myself that enough times. What is the frequency of AD's?
