Got mine yesterday and mounted it but haven't taken it to the range yet. You do have to remove the dust caps to adjust but you don't need a screwdriver, just finger twist.

Damn stubbicatt, you have given your all to check out this scope!!! Hope you get your sight back!! I can't wait 'till mine gets here...might be here by the 4th. I still need to order a mount though...

After reading this thread I ordered one from Midway. I called Millett and was told that they have a new DMS out and the older one is now discontinued. Not sure about the differance in performance but the new one has the Illumination knob on the left side instead of the top and has a retail value of under $259.99. So, at $229.99 I'm very happy. They have a "As long as you own it warrenty". Range report when I get it mounted. The new one also has a "extra battery storage area" under the cap.

I am trying to find out what power rifle scope is allowed in 3-Gun competion. Is 4x the max or does it change with who ever is sponsoring the match? I'm looking at rifle scopes and want to make sure I don't waste my $$$ on the wrong one.
