The Edge is a large, heavy gun to carry concealed. I would suggest a smaller Sig would work better. Parts are available for just about anything on the internet, usually with a short delivery time. It's always a trade off, and most people end up with more than one gun. thanks, George
  3. The first match is always special. Congratulations on getting started down the road to enjoyment. George
  4. Fantastic....you both should be very proud. George
  5. I have not had the opportunity to shoot either one. The only thing I know is the local gun shop sold a GSG 1911 and the buyer traded it back in within the week. The gun shop would not say why. thanks, George

  8. I had the same problem when I started with the XL650 and on mine it was the shellplate not snugged down properly. I test it with my thumb every once in awhile and if I feel movement then I adjust it because it will come loose. This also caused a high primer problem. thanks, George

  12. I understand. I am 67 and have been shooting USPSA for 2 years. I have bought and tried every front sight on the market and tried 3 different types of shooting glasses. I now shoot Open with a C-More red dot. thanks, George
  13. It was a great match and a big " Thank You " to everyone involved. My wife Barbara and I had a wonderful time and Squad 2 had to be the best squad at the match. The ROs who were in all of the heat were great and I can't think of a negative thing to say. A special thanks to Nanci for making us feel so welcome and we will see everyone next year. Oh, and the prize table was fantastic. George and Barbara
  14. A. Practice breathing while shooting. With 32 round stages you have to breathe. B. El Presidente at 25 yards. It has turning, target transition, and mag change. Good luck, George
