  1. Over the years I have met a ton of people with this same problem. Most of the time it goes back to the shooter, operator error of some type. Smaller handguns offer some challenges once in awhile, with some having smaller grips and they have a shorter barrel. I would have someone else shoot it and see what they come up with. thanks, George
  2. Welcome aboard from Granbury George
  3. It is not that bad. Really. I bought my 650 off ebay and all of the parts were not included, so I learned a lot about the XL650. If you set yourself up right it is a snap. The first time took me way too much time. The last time I switched I was talking on the phone and finished the change over before I finished the conversation. Feel free to contact me and I will be glad to help. If I can do it, a real slow caveman can do it. I like the XL650 because it indexes for me. I don't have to add a seperate step. You can still mess it up, but I know when I did it and respond. George

  11. I am certainly not an expert. I picked 124 grain JHP from Montana Gold because several people I shoot with use them. I also did a little survey of the group and picked their favorite powder and recipe and use it. I am real happy with both and saved a lot of time experimenting. thanks, George
  12. Welcome aboard. I have been wanting to try 3 gun, but am afraid I would like it. George
  13. I am with the rest of them. I keep the mags clean, wipe down the gun and clean it every 1-2 K. Real bad weather will change that a litte, but I do not over do it. thanks, George

    Duty and honor

" It is a matter of honor " is a very important statement and a more important mindset. thank you, George
  16. My wife and I have 3- .22 conversions between us and I think they help a lot. For drawing and getting a sight picture, transitions, movement, etc. I don't like dry fireing but I do like going to the range and running 200-300 rounds of .22 rimfire through. Some of the conversions are a little ammo sensitive, but that is not a big deal as they all run with the economy packs from Wally. At the end of the practice session I do put the regular slide back on and run a few full power rounds downrange to remember what the recoil is. Thanks, George
