I have already given most of them away. One guy really liked the 2011 I built. The .40 Kimber CST went pretty quick also. So far the prototype G36 Tactical that Glock sent me is running well. The G21 with the grip reduction and BT was a gun Southpaw gave me to shoot. My bud Scott wound up buying it. Lee, you have not felt one of my Glock triggers. Is 1 lb light enough? How about a 3 lb. that is as short and crisp as a 1911 trigger - well almost.

I assume FS means front sight. I use a nut driver to install and remove the FS on Glocks. Are you saying there is just half of the hex head left? If you can't get a grip with a nut driver then just drive it through with a punch. Second option would be a small chisel to cut the head off. Third option, if you don't mind damaging the sight, is to grab it with Vise Grips and yank it off.

He does not need to send them back to ACT. Nighthawk provides his guns and mags. I don't think you would want any cracked mags.

You can't reload a BHP - BTDT. Those square top mags just don't want to find a home in the gun.

I saw the MT2 taper and what appeared to be a draw bar in the picture.

The "Factory Shooter" for Nighthawk is a friend of mine. He showed me a whole sack full of cracked ACT mags. If the metal is of proper composition and heat treated correctly they will not crack. Even though I don't care for Bill Wilson I like his mags.

I think Bill should outlaw Glocks from IDPA. They win too many Divisions and Classes. What is going to happen when Glock finally comes out with the G36 Tactical? Will CDP become single action only? I really like the pre-production G36T I am testing.

I am talking about a .270" steel rod that goes all the way to the end of a G34/35 slide. I think the problem is most folks don't know of anyone that makes them.

The ACT mags tend to crack at the rear.

Someone needs to make a full length, full diameter steel GR for the G34 and G35. I make my own, but I do think there is a market for them. I use a 12# Wolf spring so I can use the large diameter rod. Getting ready to make a large diameter full length GR out of plastic for my G34 & G35. Does not add weight but the extra length and diameter work better with the Wolf spring.

What is so special about that guide rod? They all seem to be about the same to me. Heck, I just make my own out of drill rod. Best one I made was out of D2.

The Spartan/RIA Tactical is more gun than 99.99999% need to be competitive in SS/CDP.

The machine I miss the most was the EDM I had access to. The guy that thought up using a water jet to thread the wire was pretty darn smart.

I would go with either a Kimber or SA. My choice would be Kimber. The ramp in a STI Trojan 9mm/40 is not right. It can be fixed, but why bother when other guns are correct. OTOH I see no reason for a ramped barrel in 9mm.

I have been planning to try some 160 gr bullets in my 9mm. Just have not had a chance to order any yet.

The Pro looks OK except for one thing. Why did they feel a need to put that funky sail of a front sight on the gun? That thing looks terrible. Put a lower rear on and get rid of that sail.

Benny, never had to shorten a Kimber GR. Bushing rotates without a problem. I guess one could get too happy with a grinder though.

Being the gun expert that I am I have a suggestion - get rid of that plastic gun and get an all steel gun like a Glock.

I have used a shotgun to start a stage in one of our local IDPA matches. I may still have that stage in my archives. If so I will send it to you. Everyone liked it.

I am curious as to the Spartan lock-up. Could you mark the upper barrel lug cut with a Sharpie to see if it makes contact with the slide lug when in battery? Thanks
