  1. That was confidential info. You weren't supposed to disclose it. Dibs on the first ones.
  2. I would like to see the competitor click 'submit' on the scoring device and have the stage results immediately emailed to him/her. No paper to carry around and time stamped for arbitration purposes. Then have complete results sent after each squad rotatation.
  3. I took mags apart a dozen times this weekend. It takes me 10 seconds to take a mag apart with the bondus .050" driver. No problem between stages.
  4. 1.140 works for me with MG 180gr FMJs.
  5. I am inclined to agree with Ronnie. His rationale is more logical to me than the improperly staged course explanation. Chapter 5 is specific to competitors equipment. If you want to cite improperly staged course, there are other chapters that specifically deal with the Course.
  6. Read the rule book 6.4.4
  7. I think the phrase "competitive advantage" should be stricken from the rulebook. One RO's judgement of what constitutes CA may be different than another RO. The same act may be an advantage for one shooter, but not for another. Outlaw the act and eliminate RO's having to make those decisions on the fly. Agreed. Isn't everything we do for a perceived competitive advantage? Otherwise, why do it? Powder, bullets, holsters, mag pouches, technique, etc. The term competitive advantage is silly.
  8. You can't compare overall match points across divisions. Scoring doesn't work that way. Match points are accumulated only based on performance within your Division.
  9. Who is using one and where did you get it? What else have you used and how does it compare?
  10. I know this RO. Same guy that says "slide forward".

    DQ?

    Rudy ninjas?
  12. That sounds reasonable to me. As a shooter, the RO wouldn't have to say anything after a second squib. I'd withdraw myself.
  13. I'm a lefty and have no issue. I have a very high grip too. My right thumbnail is just slightly black after a match, but nothing I can feel while shooting. This is an external frame rail gun. This type design allows for much higher hand/finger placement than standard nternal frame rails. If you are catching gasses and brass now, how would you shoot anything else without interfering with the slide cycling? You might need to look at adjusting your thumb placement.
  14. Most Level II and III matches do not have a high enough representation of GMs to truly be an accurate reflection for classification. Take a level II. L10 with 35 shooters and the highest class shooter is one A. If he wins he shoots 100% does that make him an M? How about the B class guy who finished up at 90%. Does that make him an A or even an M? What do GMs have to do with it? If you are a C and beat 25 other Cs, that is a fantastic argument to get the automatic bump to B. there don't need to be any GMs. I'm not talking counting the match percentage as ONE of your classifiers of record.
  15. Why not a Level II or Level III match exception to the classification system? If you win your class at Level II or III, you get an automatic bump to the next class. You could possbily take it a step further and 2 2nd place or 3 3rd place plaque/trophy/cash finishes get you bumped as well. That would eliminate the perennial sandbaggers looking for a class win before being bumped. That might be a bit difficult to manage at USPSA HQ though.
  16. Speak for yorself. Have you ever watched a Production National Champ? How about Jerry driving a revolver? Talent is talent. You can't be a part of this sport and not be in complete awe of the top shooter's skill level, regardless of Division. I do not admire Open shooters more than the Elite in any other Division.
  17. CHA-LEE, I have the Henning fixed rear sight (full blade, narrow notch). I bought it as a spare to replace the Super Sight when it fails. It appears to be visibly taller than the adjustable sight though. What height front sight matches it and where are you getting POI vs POA?
  18. Using your trunk as a safe area. You shouldn't comment on safety until you correct that blatant disregard for our rulebook.
  19. I'm a lefty. I had to grind on the left side safety.
  20. PM enos member Maksim. I got mine from him.
  21. Slight drift. Do any S_i 2011 adjustable rear sights fit in the Limited without modification?
  22. are you saying a Dawson sight works with this airsoft? Which one? The stock front sight is .140" tall. I got the Dawson .160"T x .100"W fiber optic insert (Dawson part# 019-118). A tad taller and narrower to better match my Limited sight picture. Obviously tolerances aren't as tight on the airsoft, so I didn't need to do any fitting like I normally would. A small drop of red loctite and tightened the set screw. It took two minutes to install. I benchrested afterwards and POI is 3/4" above POA at 25' with no adjustment to the rear adjustable sight from the factory setting. After one magazine, I had a 1" group with two fliers. The group was centered horizontally. You have same Dawson FO front sight on your actual Limited as well? Yes, same one.
