  1. How arrogant is it to make a random rules change without considering the membership and then be so bold as to brazenly post after the fact to attempt justification. It isn't about the rule, it's about broken process that allows this to happen.

  2. If these are the new Mecgar K40 mags, the max you can load to is 1.145 according to a few recent posts. With the old 10mm or 40 with spacers removed, folks here load out to 1.225. Search in the Tanfo sub-forum. you'll see a post from casman explaining it. Very good info.
  3. For me this isn't about the rule. It's about a fundamental concept. "That government is best which governs least." -TP Why is this true? "Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one." - TP This holds true for all elected bodies, not just those of cities, states or countries. I may be but one voice, but I will vote to remove those in power that do not share this belief. It doesn't matter if this BoD decision benefits me or not. It sets an ugly precedent for future decisions that more than likely won't be good for any of us.
  4. Just because you have an opion and CAN post, doesn't mean that you should. If a topic doesn't pertain to you, just move along without posting.

  5. Apparently reading comprehension isn't a requirement to post. I didn't say anything about voting and BOD. I was refering to members commenting in a forum about a division they don't even shoot. Speaking of which, I just noticed TYF29266 doesn't have a single Production classifier either.
  6. Allow me to point out that L1571 does not have a single Production classifier on record.
  7. Have you ever noticed the similarity between internet admins/mods and the name takers/hall monitors in the 2nd grade? Just an observation.

  8. I haven't seen any other justification. But if this is important to you, run for SC or AD and address it at that level. We've wrestled this issue several times on the forum, and the end result always seems to be a handful of determined folks who want Prod-15 or Limited Lite, and a much larger consensus of shooters who are pretty happy with division limits as they are. BB Are you sure your view is the "consensus". I'm pretty sure the consensus view is the consensus. Read the old threads. Note that this hasn't been changed by USPSA. Draw your own conclusion. BB Offer Production and Production-10 at the level 2 matches next year. Then you'll have your consensus. Until then you just have a bunch of excuses and internet speculation.
  9. What the hell is the reasonable man rule, and where can I find it in the USPSA rulebook?
  10. Just out of curiosity, did any of your other bullet holes leave grease marks?
  11. Accuracy is relative. What might be considered good for one might not be for another. If you post group size, number of shots, distance and method of rest it would give more meaning to the load data being provided.
  12. I had Henning do a trigger job. Installed EGW sear/hammer, flat trigger system, roller plunger and lighter main spring. I just tested it with RCBS gauge and it measured 1.75lbs. I was expecting light, but that was much ligher than expected.
  13. Can the Stock 2 trigger with FPB be made as good as the CZ Shadow which is lacking FPB, FPB spring, lifter and lifter spring? The standard SP-01 trigger isn't as good as a Shadow trigger (both with Angus trigger jobs) due to the lack of FPB components in the Shadow. In the CZ design, the lifter is not integrated with the sear and removing the lifter makes a huge difference in trigger reset. However, it appears the lifter is integrated with the sear in the Stock 2 design. Because of the design difference, can a good Stock 2 trigger job reduce the reset similar to that of a Shadow?
  14. Thanks. I look forward to the feedback.
  15. Is anyone pushing 180gr bullets with n320 at 1.225 oal in a Limited .40? Also, is anyone using 180gr Montana Gold? If so, FMJ or JHP?
  16. Details? Trigger work, add ons, etc? Very nice.
  17. Outstanding match. The 1/2 day format is fantastic. Thanks to the match staff and all the sponsors.
  18. With the U.S Stock 2 being a large frame, wouldn't the frames be the same regardless if it were 9mm or .40? The upper assembly and mags are what need to be caliber specific, no? I can see where a .40 slide with a 9mm barrel would have crazy issues like this. I'm amazed this would even be possible.
  19. Ask CZinSC which ones he shot in the IPSC Nationals last year and then buy the other ones. He shot his SP01 in Open. LOL It was all I could do to cram my stock gun/mags into the IPSC box.
  20. How about just define "engage" and "shoot at" in the glossary of the rulebook. Let the existing rules go from there.
  21. See LT45's post. The scoring interpretations were made by the NROI.
  22. By the hard cover definition some of you are using to assess an FTE, answer this: A shooter is engaging an array around the side of a wall. He is in a hurry to leave the shooting location and his last two shots make full diameter hits through the wood 2x4 edge of the wall and both impact the scoring area of the final target in the array. Based on the position of the gun when the shots broke, no portion of the target's scoring area was exposed to the muzzle and scoring impacts were impossible based on the hard cover. Does he get an FTE there? At what point does 2 Mike become 2 Mike/ 1 FTE through hard cover? 1 inch, 6 inches, 1 foot, 10 feet?
  23. Hypothetical question for those that say holes do not exist due to imaginary/invisible hard cover. Adding to the original scenario, what if (realizing his/her error) the shooter quickly throws a couple extra shots from a location where the target IS visible, but under scoring there are only two A zone holes? How do you score them?
