What a great video!
Here's a young lady who will NOT grow up with a fear of guns.
In my many years of experience in teaching women about gun safety I've learned that most of their "fear" comes from not knowing how firearms function.
Now, I'm not advocating that all women learn this skill of field stripping an AR (although it is a good training tool) but, they need to be taught how the pieces fit together and basically how it works. Handling a firearm from a position of self-confidence makes for safer gun handling and a postive experience on the range. Additionally, when a woman understands the mechanics of the firearm she then has the freedom of choice to shoot.
Kinda like when you teach your teenaged daughter how to drive a car. Once she learns where the key goes and that it needs gas and oil to function she can usually operate it long enough to get to the store. But if you teach her the basic mechanical systems of the vehicle, she will feel confident to take your credit card and drive across the country.
