Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Do you have to tune the magazine for a specific gun or will a tuned 38 supercomp mag function well in all 38 supercomps? Tom
  2. scalloped the rearmost aspect of the right safety and now it's good to go. Thanks again for everyone's input. Tom
  3. How do you alter the feed lips on a magazine? Is the measurement taken from the inside or outside the lips? trying to decide if this is something I should attempt myself or pay someone to do. Thanks, Tom
  4. On my way to the smith in the am. Thanks for eveyone's input. Tom
  5. Thanks for the advice. Do you find that you need the ambi feature much in matches? I'm a converted Glock user and have not had to manipulate a thumb safety in the past. Tom
  6. guess I wasn't clear. I take my grip with thumb on top riding the safety, I disengage the safety and the right side safety(looking through the sights) strikes the knuckle of my second finger. This results in either / or pain, partial disengagement. Tom
  7. Do you use your ambi safety much and if you do what make do you prefer? I got a new gun with a Swenson and it interferes with my grip on the weak side. At times my knuckle reengages the safety or makes it hard to knock off. I think I'll need to grind it off. Similar problems? Comments? Tom
  8. Shot the 355 super through my Glock from SJC. 5 shots avg 1405. pf - 175. temp 65 degrees. Plan on another chrono test in a couple weeks. finely manufactured Ammo. Great for those of us who are unwilling or don't have the time to reload. Tom

    CCF Frames

stock recoil spring guide. 180 gr major ammo. 200 rounds buffer demolished. Tom
  10. I also don't loosen the set screws and it seems to work fine. Tom
  11. Changed the firing pin and shot the bottom row with ammo from Brazos, the upper two rows with AAA of two different primer lots. What do You think. The people from Brazos and Atlanta have been great in helping me through this. Tom

    Ccf Raceframe

I have serial # 500 stainless frame. Shooting with 35 slide. Barrel lockup is perfect. Huge difference when compared to stock. 50 yd groups much tighter for me. Weight difference really helps to dampen major 40 loads. Using a speedsec holster with good results. My kydex holsters don't seem to fit just right. Tough to get them out on the draw. I think the trigger guard difference is what is causing the problem. Highly recommeded. The shock buf that comes with the frame is shredding in no time. I already gone through one with about 300 - 400 rounds. glad I bought extra. tom
  13. chrono'd some loads of 125g AAA 38 supercomp 1396,1400,1407,1426,1404,1402. avg 1405 ?too hot for this gun? they do use cci pistol primers not small rifle primers Tom
  14. thanks for all the interest. I'm going to contact both Brazos and AAA tomorrow and will post their comments/solutions. Tom
