big_kahuna
Happy birthday and Semper Fi! Tun Tavern. Yup, we were born in a BAR! OOHRAH! Let me trip down memory lane for a moment... For my groundsider brethen (oohrah, chesty lives), here's a Hard@$$ groundsider cadence song: Running through the desert with my M16 I'm a mean mother****** I'm a US Marine M4 and Ka-Bar by my side These are the tools that I live by These are the tools that take men's lives HALO HALO infantry King of battle, folllow me First to fight and the last to fall We don't even count 'em all Up in the morning, out of the rack woken up by a mortar attack Sergeant rushes me off to chow We don't need it anyhow Doing our duty for the country's needs Kill people, break things, that's our creed For my fellow Air wingers, I offer this cadence song: Running through the hangar with my 5/16ths I'm a mean mother****** I'm an Airwing Marine Soldering iron and voltmeter by my side Making sure the birds are "Safe for Flight" Launching the birds before first light Sending our pilots off to fight FOD walk, wing walk, then make haste To "procure" needed assets from the Air Force base Re-allocating resources, that's our trade They were on coffee break anyway Birds in the break, run back to the line Hot pit and launch again just in time Debriefing aircrew, taking care of the men Couple hours racktime and do it again
