-JQ-
The Young Ones...famous quote...actually a salutation I think broomshanka: "may the seed of your loin be fruitful in the belly of your woman" - Neil Utterly useless info that I can't get out of my head for more useful things - like "have I already shot that target?" <slight drift> I dated a Brit in college. I couldn't understand half of what she said. No lie. But she sure was pretty. </drift>

ShaunH
So there's this guy I work with, and we have nothing in common except that we both enjoy British comedy. Consequently, every time we're out smoking that's all we talk about. Got me thinking, can anybody recommend me something good that I haven't seen?My favorite is Blackadder. "Blackadder II" is probably the best overall season, although the single best episode is probably the Flashheart episode in "Blackadder Goes Forth". Flasheart in BA II was excellent. You can't go wrong with lines like, " I've got an idea, and it's as hot as my pants!" or "She has the tongue of an electric eel and she likes the taste of a man's tonsils!!" redmanfixit
Hey c'mon....what about Dr. Who!! Surely there MUST be some Whovians in this bunch. Jeeves & Wooster is wonderful. I can't think of anyone that could be Jeeves better than Stephen Fry. And yes, I'm one of those geeks that STILL uses Monty Python quotes in my daily conversation.
