kevin c
Only centerfire counts in my book. Airsoft and cowboy wax bullets only give fuel to the wrong people. Don't worry, I only practice and shoot among those I trust
Steve J
Only centerfire counts in my book. Airsoft and cowboy wax bullets only give fuel to the wrong people. Don't worry, I only practice and shoot among those I trust Cowboys or Shooting Gallery covered a SASS convention in Las Vegas a couple of years ago where they shot an entire match inside the casino with wax bullets. I still can't get the image out of my head of an anti-gunner / green freak seeing that and saying "if they can use wax, then they don't need real lead bullets". sargenv
I probably shot in the lower end of about 12,000 rounds.. most of it 38 spl and some 40 in my Limited gun. You can probably throw in a couple of cases of 12 gauge and maybe 200 rounds of 223 rem and about 400 rounds of 30-30 in my new to me but now broken firing pin Marlin 336. Just kind of experienced burnout last year.. Needed to do something different.
ac4wordplay
Not enough (although the wallet says "too much"). That darn wallet! 4041
Shawn Knight
I shot about 5000 rounds in 2008. DTC and Area 3 were the most I shot at one time. I just don't have the cash for constant practice like some of you guys! I am only counting ammo shot at matches or practice with my match ammo or match guns. i shot around 3000 rounds of 22lr too but I don't count that as it is so freaking cheap... Well it used to be! big_kahuna
I shot a couple thousand 40s&w. Nick (little_kahuna) shot 25 thousand 40s&w.
Blueridge
I would have to say that I only shot between 3000-6000 rounds last year, and on the low end at that. I have a few other sports/hobbies that I participate in (Archery, Olympic Style Fencing, Photography) along with 3 shooting sports which limits my time for each. I have the USPSA NC Sectionals in May, the State Games of NC fencing event [i'm the event manager] in June, and the US Fencing Summer Nationals coming up in July. This along with monthly competitions in several of the above.

h2osport
Last year I was between 4000-5000. Not as many as 2007. I will be off a little more this year, but plan on shooting more in 2010. Randy
Steve J
Start getting your data in order for 2009. The 2009 thread will specify CENTER FIRE PISTOL ONLY. None of this wussie rimfire, airsoft, or long gun crap.

None of this wussie rimfire, airsoft, or long gun crap. In that case, it will likely be less than 10k this year.. the difference is that at least half of it.. or maybe a little more will have been my own boolits.. I started casting in March.. and are they ever nice!!!

redwoods
About 3000-4000. How are we supposed to hoard powder, primers, and bullets if we end up shooting so much?
