Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I did not like the coated bullets they smoke as much or more than plain lead in my gun. As a side note I only use the barrel for a case gauge because of what JohnGault said.
  2. I really like the MG 115 the cost for bullet is right and they are far more accurate than I am.
  3. bagging a gun between stages seems like a PITA to me just my oppion.
  4. I wish I had got to shoot like what you people have done for your kids when I was young. If I had I might (note I said MIGHT) not suck now.
  5. How many rounds did i fire last year? The answer is alot more than my wife said I can afford.
  6. I once thought I saw a .243 in flight however other people have told me what I was seeing was the vapor trail. Which is true I don't know.
  7. This is the reason that if I could order guns direct to my home I would never go to a gun store again. I am a auto technician by profession and on the very rare occasion that I go to a auto parts store I here very similar dumba$$ coments.
  8. I guess it rings true that all guns are diffrent in my bolt action Varget (26.5 grains with a 55 grain bullet) is about 1/3 MOA at 100 yards. So that is my favorite powder for .223 on the other hand Benchmark sux in any load combo I tried in my gun.
  9. O.K. let me say I have never tried this on a Glock but I would avoid Carb cleaner. As a auto technician I have learned that Carb cleaner will melt some types of plactics like a telephone (don't ask its a long story). If any one is wondering the only reason I have ever used Carb cleaner on a gun is that it is designed to break up carbon the very thing we get in our chambers. For the most part I agree with the previous post that a Glock don't need much cleaning (thats why I like them well and the price)
  10. two years ago when I was 29 (and I still have no idea what I'm doing)
  11. I heard a rumor today that Glock may start produceing there own .22 conversion. Has anyone else heard anything about this? If true this would be a GREAT thing especially since it is almost impossiable to find a AA kit now
  12. I wish I knew how this went but its from Harley Davidson and The Malboro Man one of them misses and the other replys "if you were shooting for shit you wouldn't even get a whiff"
  13. I think what ever you do elimanateing any wasted movement is the most important thing and being consistent I have made very low (around 1sec) first shots only to follow up the next stage with a turtle (1.9-2.1) that I can say for sure is NOT the way to do it
  14. don't walk. Run as fast as you can away from this it will steal all your money
  15. I always load to the max with me shooting I may need 20 for a 6 round stage
