Rolex
This does not look good. Just went to new gun store. They ordered some 22 Glocks- as well as other items- and may not see any for some time! Glock is at an all time high and "IS" back ordered for some time! So if you got one hold on- it may be a LONG time before there abundent again. Yep, Glock is reported to be currently backordered for 2009 to an equal (probably greater) number of units as was produced/imported into the US all of last year. That's pretty much the situation across the firearms industry as we fight to get product to sell.
hitman
Hmm might be time to sell my 35.
Calmwater
I called Glock in December about a LE purchase and was told there was a 14 week wait. The gun was a want not a need so I bought a Taurus 1911 instead.
The Antichrome
Perfect storm. This could be due to a combination of the o-bomb and the change over to the 4th gen Glocks.
mike4045
Our local Academy still had them. I just don't need another. 17's are difficult to find. Mike
Rolex
Yes Mike, they stated G17 was the hardest to find- new any way!
Aircooled6racer
Hello: Maybe that's why I can't find anyone that wants to sell there G34. I don't need the ambi mag release and actually prefer not having one (right handed). Would sell my G23 2nd gen though or trade. Going to 9mm Glocks only. Thanks, Eric

BlackBuzzard
Glocks are mostly stocked out around here (PA), but dont give up. I snagged a new G17 for $509 at Dec gun show in Harrisburg - it was also the only one there that I could find. Also saw new G34 and G35 for around $540-560. The G17 is the original full size 9mm that Glock started out with, right? Wonder why it is extra hard to find? I've said it before and I'll say it again.......unmodified Glocks are like currency these days. Arent the 4th gen changes mostly cosmetic? Micah
Wow...even Mark at Summit Gun Broker is out of 17's and 22's right now. I'm sure that if you really wanted one, someone here on the forum will let one go.
chirpy
Most of the regular Glocks are available around here (NE Ohio). I just saw my first ever 34 and 35 this past weekend. Checked them out but didn't like the D..N fingergrooves (or they didn't like my hand!). FWIW Richard PS: Not a bash on Glocks.
TMC
Maybe I shouldn't have sold the 21SF, good thing I still have 5 other Glocks.
Rolex
Hay BlackBuzzard- thats short $$ for those Glocks- I just saw today a Glock 24 there asking $620.00! Go buy one and sell them out of state
Chuck Anderson
The new Glocks are being phased in, supposedly starting with the 23 and moving on. The two primary changes at least on the pictures I've seen are a new rougher texture on the grip and semi circular grasping grooves at the rear of the slide. Supposedly the grooves give better purchase. I'll probably get a better look next week.
