I'm doing some foot work for a LARGE company... sorry, can't say who right now, that is considering promoting and supporting 3-gun matches. They are requesting some stats on the following items:

Name of Match / Club

# of matches per year

# of competitors/ match

# of rounds per match

I've noted the matches on 3gunrules.com but I was thinking that I may be missing some.

So that we don't get duplicates, can a match official or an active 3-gun club post ONE reply for each match/club with this info, if would be a great help.

Thanks in advance,

Bruce Piatt

Atlanta Conservation Club located in Atlanta, In host a monthly 3-Gun / Multi-Gun match.

5- 6 stages per month

120 + rounds

40 -60 shooters depending on weather.

Range bays do not allow for long rifle shots so rifle stages are mostly house clearing type stages with many no-shoots, hard cover, etc.

Working on putting in some deeper bays for longer rifle shots

Old Bridge, NJ

last weekend in October. This will be our 6th Annual in 2007

Multi-gun rules, started out with local rules, now USPSA and San Angelo scoring. Payout is cash, we use modified Lewis system since classifications may not hold true and many shooters do not have a USPSA classification.

9 stages, maximum range is 100 yards, generally 6 stages are multi-gun.

Limited to 144 shooters, match shot in one day, either Saturday or Sunday

I haven't seen a mention of the Fort Benning match put on by the AMU. In my opinion, the best 3-gun match east of the Mississippi. The Topton Rifle match, now known as the PA State Rifle Championship is going into its 4th year. Sold out as a one day match the last two years, now 85% full as a 2 day match. This year's dates are 6/30 and 7/1. Another very good match is the Kentucky State 3-Gun held over Labor Day Weekend.

In Oregon we have a 3 gun Tactical match at Tri County in Sherwood on the fourth Sunday (Pistol, SG and Pistol Cal Carbine), an IMGA 3 Gun match in Albany on the second Sunday. Both of these matches draw anywhere from 20-40 people depending on the weather. We also have a Rifle only match at Tri-County that draws about 100 people a month and a Pistol cal carbine or SG match (rotates each month) that brings in about 30-40 people.

As for big matches this year we have the Area 1 Multi Gun Championship and the R&R Racing Multigun Championship at Albany.

I ran Ridgerunners for awhile in Breckenridge TX

One match a month with 6 stages that included up to all 3 guns in a stage or two.

We averged 20-30 shooters for awhile but I've been out a bit and I hear

attendance is down.
