TruStreet
Congratulations are in order to both Dave Sevigny for winning this years Winchester’s World Challenge. He not only won Open Class but was Over all Match Winner. He won this event shooting an Open Glock. To my knowledge this is the first Open World Title won with an Open Glock. The Gun he used was built by our own John Nagel. Congratulations to both Dave Sevigny & John Nagel for a job well done! dirtypool40
ok, I'll bite, what type of shooting was this? Where can we see pics / video? Is this steel challenge type stuff? Just interested to see new matches, and wondering about what it was. Dave S. is the man.
shred
WWC is timed-fire on plate racks with variously shaped plates, or arrays of poppers & such. The same courses of fire as the STI-American Handgunner World Shootoff, but not man-on-man. If SWB could keep my DSL up for more than five minutes a day, I have some video from several years ago on my web server.

TruStreet
There seems to be a lot of intrest at my club... I've got a couple requests to build up open glocks this winter. When ever my wife & I shoot our local area matches, there is always someone that ask us if they can see our guns. Or we're asked "Is that an Open Glock built by Johnnie? Do You mind if I shoot it?" eric nielsen
I may have said this already [mind is still a little foggy after taking my final exams] but an Open Glock is possibly the ultimate Steel gun for shooting minor loads. 7.8 of HS6 & a 115 bullet work the G17 really nice. Other guns may work better for you in Open with Major loads, but for Steel it's hard to beat the Glock's extremely light weight, very fast cycling, and rolling trigger. Several great Bianchi Cup shooters have stated they wish they could shoot a revolver trigger on the Falling Plates and a semi-auto on all the other [paper] targets. I wish there were steel matches closer to me than a 5-hour drive. I'd take my Open Glock to a match like that every time.
