Glock 26 Is Too Small

No doubt Glock 26 is one of the best Pistol for  self defense. It have hi-capacity, relatively easy to handle * reliable. But some people have issue with its size. Anyone here who have any issue with its small size?

There is nothing like a glock 19 for CCW if you can handle the extra size and weight.. Most people can not hable those small size subcompact guns do to there size.

I have a 26 and then a few 17s and 34s. Back when there were finger grooves the 19 just didn't feel right for me so I got a 26 and liked it. You can also get a grip sleeve and use 19 mags but it doesn't feel as good as there is a gap and it moves around a little on me.

 

That said my wife has a 48 and that thing fits my hand like a glove. I've been thinking about getting an MOS one for carry optics to play around with. Couples with shield mags and you're at 15+1.

With my-sized hands, I use the standard magazines and curl my pinkie finger under the mag, making a "shelf" for the gun to sit on.

 

To me, the Pearce extension makes the grip length the perfect wrong size.  It ends half-way across my pinkie and doesn't feel "right".

Ah! I'm not the only one that does that. Good to know. 

I actually like the Glock +2 extension. It fits my hands as well as the 10 round and the "pinky shelf" demonstrated above. I carry it either way depending on clothes

Love the G26 myself, especially the fact that is so flexible. I run it as my EDC with a AIWB holster and a stock 10 round round mag installed to minimize printing, then carry a G19 15 round mag with a X-Grip sleeve for backup. The G19 15 round mag with a sleeve makes it feel like a G19 in the hand. Ability to change mags for more comfort really can't be beat. Good luck!

G26 is my carry and has been for years. The more draw practice and getting comfortable would help. 
I personally keep this size because got me it’s easier to manage the grip when carrying

Grip tape or stippling will help you hold on. I actually use this putty they sell at home depot called Steel Stick, to make sort of a palm-swell on the left side of the frame. I shape it to fill the inside of my palm and gives you a little more meat to grab. Doesn't look amazing but very effective. You can also silicone carbide over it if you want

I have two 26's one with a stippled grip and one with grip tape.  A rough grip texture seem to help me on all plastic guns.
