Boy
I am going to buy a Holosun HS510C. It comes in red or green dot. Which is better? thanks
Steve RA
If you are buying in person, I'd try to look thru both and then make a decision.

Rich406
I find the green easier to pick up. But in the end its personal preference.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: I have tried the red and the green and prefer the red. I use a green fiber on my Limited pistol. Thanks, Eric

HoMiE
When it’s bright outside, the green washes out. The red is easier to see when it’s bright out.
pjb45
In AZ mine does not wash out with green. I prefer green to red as a general rule.
Patrick Scott
When I was shopping 510s I had the same question. I was told by a few shooters that green dot optics can wash out pretty easy on white steel. I bought a red one, no issues so far after about 6 months.
