Figuring out load data on Blues seems to be detective work. The response I got when I inquired directly, "use cast bullet data." I think the Hornady bullets on the Hodgeden site are FMJ. I found this on the Eggleston site:

Looks like the Polycoat and  Honrady XTP 147 data is exactly the same. LOL - and a bit hard to believe

I have loaded some coated Bayuo Bullets and Zero HP both 147gr with Hodgdon Universal. The Zero 147 was for suppressed pistols and loaded within the guidelines "in the book"

The Bayou Bullets I had to exceed recommend charge weight to get to work reliably in a MPX but worked well and without any pressure indications

I have a good idea as to what I should do with the Blue 147s for USPSA minor but thought I would ask if anyone had first hand experience with this bullet and powder and could share their experiences.

Thanks

That seems very strange. I wonder where Eggleston got their data from?

Well I did some experimentation and decided to go with 147 RN blues WIN sp primer 3.28gr Universal 1.14OAL gave me an average velocity of 873fps from a 5" M&P  = 128 PF

I was loading for a friend and he will shoot these in a XDM 5.25. I am hoping he will have a 129-130PF with the tad longer barrel

Shot a few of these threw my sig 365 for fun - 113 PF

Is that really 1.200?? I'm impressed anything plunks that long!

That's in my SW 929 revolver. Sorry

And I'm using Clays, not Universal  Clays. Sorry again.

Whoever thought naming three different powders Clays, Universal Clays and International Clays was s good idea, should be killed :)

Yes. And I certainly hope that after 2 years Chillywig has his load figured out. 😁
