t0066jh
Has anyone tried a Burris Fast Fire 3? Whose mount did you use? Are you satisfied with the way it performs? I'm thinking of trying this out and looking for input. Thanks Joe Edited September 3, 2018 by t0066jh grammar repair
AzShooter
I tried one on my 627 with an Allchin mount and liked it but I decided to replace it with a C-More Railway with a 12 minute dot. There is no weight added to the gun with the BFF-3 dot and mount,
t0066jh
Thanks Steve Was the dot to small on the Fast Fire or what did you not like?
fcrsocial
Joe,I'm a fan of both Allchin Mounts and Raptor Engineering Mounts.I've been running a DeltaPoint Pro (2.5 MOA), CMore RTS2 (6 MOA), Vortex Viper (6 MOA), and Vortex Venom (3 MOA).Good Luck!Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
missed it by that much
+1 on the allchin mount with the vortex 6 moa same foot print as the ff3 just has the 6moa dot vs the 3 or 8. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
Steve_53
My 627 with a Fast-Fire 3 on a Raptor Engineering mount.... super - solid, low profile mount.
t0066jh
Thanks Steve. That's a nice looking set up. Grips are awesome. Joe
NoSteel
Alchin mount works slick. Only downside I found with the ff3 is the small window.. Some draw & dry fire will help with finding the dot though.. I like the 8moa...
Tampa-XD45
+1 on the Raptor mount. I just wish they had them in black.
GMM50
That's what black magic markers are for. Brownells also has some oxide kits that work well.
Tampa-XD45
The guy at Raptor Engineering recommended this paint for the bead blasted finish: https://www.amazon.com/VHT-ESP652000-Satin-Black-Weather/dp/B000CPIN34
t0066jh
Thanks to all. I settled in on a Deltapoint Pro with a Raptor mount. Thanks for all the input
Adamj
I had a Vortex Venom on an Allchin mount that worked great. It was as close to bore as I could find and very solid.
SteelCityShooter
EGW sells a low profile mounts for most red dots (DPP, Venom, FFIII, etc) that replaces the rear sight on S&W K.L and N-frames. I have a Venom on my 686 using the EGW mounting plate and it works very well.
