Well, I've been shooting 9 major through aluminum comps for five years and the only comp I've seen crack was made of steel ? I'd add Tanfoglio factory comps are made of aluminum. I'd add Tanfoglio factory comps are made of aluminum. i shoot with al. 7075 comp. for 10 y . minor loads, no problems. and like u say the only one that cracks was the tanfoglio factory steel comp. but al. comp need better care than one that made from steel. That's a factory Czechmate comp with angled ports added, the guy who did it told me he regrets it.
