MedicAJ
I'm building a new rifle with an 18" midlength 1x8 barrel from Black Hole that I picked up off the prize table at the 3GN Southern Regional. Any experiences with their barrels? Thanks! Andy
LSnSC
I've got an 18" rifle gas 1-8 twist that shoots lights out! I build an SPR style rifle around it for DM style matches.

Dan Sierpina
My barrel likes 25.5 grains of H335, under either Hornady V Max, or Nosler Ballistic Tips. Mine is the LT contour. It shoots well enough that Rocky Mountain 3 Gun targets only require one squeeze per steel out to 550 yards.
Amerflyer48
My 18" (HBar contour) 1-8 rifle gas likes the flat based HP 55 grainers I get from my local store I loaded up with H322 also likes some 77 gr. Prvi a friend gave me a box or 2 they seem to like most everything from the posts I have seen fit tight in the upper had to use the "heat upper with hair dryer" trick. they will be my go to barrel for future builds. LSnSC
Mine likes 77 SMKs over TAC. We have an IPSC set up at 800. If I call wind right I have no problem getting hits. It doesn't move much though...
lumberjack149
Mine shoots great, my only complaint is that it has a real large gas port for a mid length 18" barrel.
blairmckenzie1
77's and 24gr of Tac. Mine shoots awesome
Flatland Shooter
With an 18" BHW barrel I can shoot under 1/2" 5 shot groups @ 100 yards with my favorite long distance load. Try 77 gr Nosler CC HP BT bullets over just enough IMR 8208 xbr to get 2605 fps. Edited May 7, 2016 by Flatland Shooter

jon49erfan
very respectable company and they contribute very heavily in 3 Gun. This. They donated a bunch of barrel certificates to MGM Ironman last year.
The Donald
very respectable company and they contribute very heavily in 3 Gun. This. They donated a bunch of barrel certificates to MGM Ironman last year. I like the idea of donating a certificate, so you can pick out a barrel you want, not one you are selling after a match. Paul-the new guy
I have an 18" standard profile It shoots great with 55grn hdy fmj's loaded whith H335 and magnum primers. No need to use more expensive bullets. Five rounds at 100 yards from a very solid rest
