billdozer
I can find the equipment rules, but what about the gun rules? I was planning on building my son one with a bull barrel, but I'm pretty sure that's not kosher. Anyone have link or list of equipment rules? Dan Sierpina
It's in Appendix D5, section 22.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: Look in the rule book it is all there about bull barrels and other non legal stuff. Look on the USPSA website or order a rule book to make sure what you want to build is legal. Nothing worse than building something and then finding out it is not legal. Not trying to be a jerk but I would not trust the internet forums for the correct info. There is a lot of incorrect info out there. wgj3
Bull barrel only ok if shorter than 4.1 or 4.25" or some such. Build a bushing gun for SS.

Mrguns
From USPSA website: http://www.uspsa.org/document_library/rules/2014/Feb%202014%20Handgun%20Rules.pdf • Coned barrels, bull barrels, or barrels with flanges, except in 1911 compact pistols with a barrel length of 4.20 inches or less. (Note: All other barrels must have barrel bushings and conform to factory profile).
Scrmblr
I think a short bull barrel 9mm 1911 would be fun.
incorrigible
I think a short bull barrel 9mm 1911 would be fun. I shot a 3" Kimber Ultra CDP2 in .45ACP in a match a couple times. Not much fun. :/ Edited October 15, 2015 by incorrigible
Aircooled6racer
I think a short bull barrel 9mm 1911 would be fun. Hello: I built one for IDPA. The bull barrel is 4.180" is a lot of fun to shoot and shoots very soft. Now I just need to put on a slide mounted optic for carry optics. That would be really fun. Thanks, Eric

Hello: I think they do fear revolvers with 10 shots and longer barrels. I vote for a CZ tricked out to the max so no one else can play and it will cost as much as a real Open pistol. Should call it BCO I think. Oh well getting me started again. Thanks, Eric

I would shoot CO with my 327 so hard. Good thing using short colt brass isn't an "external modification."
rpm8300
For a quick reference, STI makes a 'USPSA' model that has pretty much all of the allowance in the SS class. It is in 45, 40, and 9mm, all of which are legal.
gino_aki
A little tangent here, but I've been thinking of a railed-frame, cut down to Commander length and flat or tri-topped Government slide, and 4.19 inch KKM bull barrel in .38 Super combo as a fun way to "push the rules" so to speak for Single Stack. thermobollocks
Super can't make major in SS.
