johnson184
Couldn't resist and found a G17L in new condition at a great price. But I didn't even think about holsters! D'oh! Any good ones?

Southpaw
Comp Tac makes them for the 17L and also makes slide style holsters that work with everything from a 26 to a 17L. Blade Tech and Safariland also probably make holsters for it. I have a Blade Tech for a 34 that I've been meaning to adjust so it'll work with my 17L, you can just heat the bottom and bend it out so the 17L will fit. Intel6
Blade tech makes two different types of holster for the 17L/24. A open front version that is their "competition" and also a regular closed version. I tried the open front version and didn't like how it felt to me so ended up with a regular drop/offset OWB closed version. I like that better and I can use any of the shorter versions of the small framed glock in it with no issues. bigbent
I used a Bladetech that was the closed version with both my 17L and my 24, worked very well. As mentioned previously it worked well for my 34 and 35 also
Philip Dedmon
I am very happy with the Bladetech closed version of my 17L.
Braxton1
The Safariland Model 014 WILL work for a 17L. I think that it is only listed on their package label as a G-34/35 holster, but a 17L or 24 will fit.
9x45
I run the closed bottom BladeTech also.
johnson184
Why did all of you go with the closed over the open competition version? Seems like your draw would be much faster with it open top?
EkuJustice
I would guess most 17Ls are being used for 3 gun where a more secure holster is better than trying to shave a 1/10th a second off draw
