How do you like the TTI guide rod with the round wire springs compared to others? Also what sights are you running with those parts to have the 27.6 weight?

When loading for Glocks, you are most likely restricted more by the magazine limiting the length than the chamber. I have loaded Titegroup with 180 plated with good results OAL 1.135 4.0 TG 180 Plated I don't remember specifics but this load made major out of a Glock 24 6" OAL 1.135 4.2 TG 180 BBI Major out of a Glock 35

I've had good luck with Titegroup and 180s. 180 BBI or Missouri 1.135 4.0-4.2 grains Titegroup

Been shooting one for two years now. Made GM with it after owning it for about 4 months. Awesome! What bullet weight to you find to best fit the bill for minor loading ? Load preference?

I'm very happy with the switch to the "Big Hands" magwell, it allows me to get my hand flatter against the grip/gun, my hand measures 4.25 inches across my palm. As others have stated, trying them for yourself is the best option. I was lucky enough to have a guy that let me try a Cape as well the Big hands before I ordered one

Also worth checking shooters connection, they typically have the CK guns available. As others have stated Akai sometimes has guns available, and I believe he stated he was going to have some ready to go guns soon

For USPSA limited, 40 cal will allow you to shoot major power factor, and is what you will see most limited shooters running. From my time in the sport, most 2011 shooters use an "Edge" type setup, a long dust cover and bull barrel, the added weight helps to manage the recoil. With the Eagle you can get either a bull or bushing barrel I believe. The Bushing barrel would allow you to also shoot IDPA if you ever wanted to. I would suggest seeking out a couple of the local guys in your area shooting 2011s and ask them about their guns, what they like and dislike about them. If they are anything like the guys here, they'll allow you to handle/fondle them at the safe table to get a feel for them.

I added a PT to my Akai that I recently got, looking forward to shooting it some if I can ever find the time.

The 24 has a grip/lower that is the same as the 22/35/17/34s For extended bases look at the TTI offerings for the .45 Glocks

I used a Bladetech that was the closed version with both my 17L and my 24, worked very well. As mentioned previously it worked well for my 34 and 35 also

I'm glad to have found this thread! I struggle with breaking down a stage and have more than once fell victim to not seeing a "hidden" target. I have a hard time getting focused on the stage and developing a plan, looking forward to implementing this guide and becoming more efficient!

Yes, the Glock 40 has a larger grip diameter than that of a 35. The mags are also larger than the 9/40 mags, so I am unsure what/how you could run a 9mm conversion barrel and have properly functioning mags. It will be interesting to see if there is something we are missing
