grouse Posted September 9, 2015 Share Posted September 9, 2015 (edited) I've got an 18" rifle with a 15" jp rail. Also have a 12" jp and 12" ap custom. Can't see a substantial difference in feel. crossgun Posted September 9, 2015 Share Posted September 9, 2015 You can get by with either but I will always choose the longer rail over the shorter especially if it doesn't add noted weight or effect balance.
