Geez, let us finish up this season first haha (The same team that runs PASCSA also runs the PA Steel League that runs 14 steel matches at 7 different clubs. Nimitz Posted October 12, 2015 Share Posted October 12, 2015 Starting in 2016 our regular monthly (1st Sat of the month) Tier 1 Steel Challenge match At Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club will always be 7 stages except for Mar & Sep which will be 8. Volusia County Gun & Hunt Club (site of the US Steel Nationals) has started to run their regular monthly Tier 1 match (2nd Sat of the month) as all 8 stages - very nice! Six stages each regular match. For our May and June matches we will be using the WCSC stages so those going to Piru can get some match practice on those stages. Our annual 8 stage match will be on a Saturday in October, but no exact date yet. The sponsorships and prize table are shaping up really well and this should be a great match. For those that enjoy more challenging stages we are having a match on Oct 24 this year with all plates at, or slightly over ISSA recommended distances. photoracer Posted October 20, 2015 Share Posted October 20, 2015 The Quantico Practical Shooters matches at the Marine Base switched to all 8 stage matches as of September 2015. Peacemaker National Training Center in WV does a 6 stage match every month on the 1st Saturday, AM and PM squads, except for dates that conflict with major matches (usually like June and August). They also have a USPSA match going on in adjacent bays. Fredericksburg Practical Shooters does 2 8 stage matches in consecutive summer months instead of their regular USPSA matches. Do you having camping at the range or know of places near by? I'm hoping to get over and shoot some of your matches but would most likely make a several day trip out of it.
