Glockinator
My gen 3 model 22 is shooting a bit higher than I like. I picked it up used and it has Tru Dot tritium sights on it. The nice thing is my LW 40-9 and stock 40 barrel have the same point of aim. I am hoping the LW 40 barrel I ordered will be similar. I need a decent set of sights but don't want to invest a lot since I may be converting to optics before to long. I want to use them mostly for Steel Challenge and maybe some IPDA later. What are some I should be looking at?
Foxj66
Warren tactical and dawson are good choices. I also like 10-8 rear sight. My current gun has a Henie 320R rear and a Dawson .225x.105 fiber optic front, it is a Gen 4 G17
Glockinator
Looked at some over on Midway, are the Keensight adjustables any good?
Avezorak
Dawson does an number of different front sight heights to bring your POI just where it needs to be. Never messed with the Kensights...
12glocks
Another vote for Dawson's. I run the adjustable rear and a narrow front.
Glockinator
These look pretty interesting. Anyone use the Taran Tatical Fiber optic? http://tarantacticalinnovations.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=44_51&products_id=127 Edited April 27, 2015 by Glockinator

Glockinator
How's the POI versus POA on them?
JBP55
The POA/POI is great with the TTI sights on my Gen 4 G34.
b1gcountry
If you wanted adjustable rear sights, definitely give the Dawson a look

What are some I should be looking at? I was having a POI/POA issue with one of my Glocks. I called Taran at TTI, explained what was happening and he sent me a set of sights that worked perfectly. TTI would be my suggestion.
rdinga
have had great luck with trijicon hd, 10-8, and Sevignys.
Glockinator
I went ahead and ordered the TTI this morning. The dot at the top of the front sight intrigued me. Edited April 29, 2015 by Glockinator
bosoxfan21
Love my TTI sights. Run them on both my 34 and 35.
Honeybooboo
TTI are the best I've had. Perfect balance between speed and accuracy. Nice small dot at the top of the post is huge imo. High quality.
JPetrowski
I ran sevigny's on my Glock 34 with the plain black front. I recently ordered a Fiber front sight that I hope to get before Saturday. I had a question regarding fiber size. Do most people like a large fiber or do they like it small? I haven't got it yet but someone I know said they drill theirs out for a larger fiber. Edited April 30, 2015 by JPetrowski
bigtimelarry
Most people go with the standard size that come on Dawsons & Sevignys which is .
Polymer
You don't need to drill anything out. If you do like a larger fiber/dot, when you are installing the fiber, melt it more so the end is larger.
JPetrowski
Thanks. Sorry for the thread hijack. I got my front in today and got it installed. I really like it so far. I will know tomorrow after I shoot a match with them.
stopsign94
This may be too late but I didn't see it mentioned, but I got my sights from Chris Patty at CPWSA.com and he used to offer a "race" cut Heinie slant-pro rear sight paired with a Dawson thin fiber optic front sight. My favorite combo so far.
