    Glock porn

Those TTI's are sexy as hell. I think I just made up my mind for sights and magwell for my G24. Thanks!
  4. I'm ordering a holster for my G24 from Bladetech today. I've had one of the DOH holsters for a G35 before and loved it, don't think this will be any different.
  5. I lightened the stock striker w/ the old dremel too and it worked great. That's my go to. I got pretty radical with it and never had an issue after at least 10k rounds.
  6. This may be too late but I didn't see it mentioned, but I got my sights from Chris Patty at CPWSA.com and he used to offer a "race" cut Heinie slant-pro rear sight paired with a Dawson thin fiber optic front sight. My favorite combo so far.
  7. I've used buffers before and never noticed a difference. I'd skip it for a Glock.
  8. I have a double occupancy room for the nationals and no one to split it with. I could do it alone, bit have some more roulette money if someone wants to split it with me. I get in on the 15th and leave 20th. If anyone is interested pm or email me at stopsign94@yahoo.com Andy
  9. I have an even tougher question. I have an Arctic Cat upper from DPMS that comes white, and was duracoated over that. Is there a way to remove the duracoat but not the white? So my question is kind of whether anyone knows what that coating would be from DPMS? Thanks
  10. I also am forced to ask why? Good luck, that's stuff's diesel.
  11. Just thought I'd throw this up here, I've never seen any USPSA stuff on TV, if you have the Outdoor channel, there's a half hour show on the Nationals at 8:30. Enjoy...
  12. Hey guys, I just booked a hotel room at the Radisson hotel in Chelmsford for Friday night. I have a guest suite with 2 double beds, and I'm wondering if anyones looking to split costs? If anyones interested, the best way to get in touch with me is to call me at 908-278-4676
  13. I have to chime in again with an update. I also have managed to smash a locking block to pieces after fidgeting with damn washers and springs and spacers and buffers. Broke pretty cleanly into 3 nice little pieces. I shot my first match today in almost a year with a stock glock frame and absolutely loved it. I didn't have 1 single malfunction, and was getting used to all the problems w/ the CCF. I feel like it was designed poorly, and shouldn't have been sold until it was worked out. I'll be going back to basics with my Glock, it's like love at first shot all over again
  14. I just walked in the door from the airport, and was hoping some results would be up. I shot the match with the guys from Vermont and we had a great time, even with the blistery wind/cold. Hopefully we'll see some results soon.... It was my first time in Texas, I loved it and will definitely be back next year.
  15. Hey Randy sorry I missed it. I'm liking Jersey so far though, shot a steel match last weekend, a uspsa match this weekend, and the DTC next weekend w/ Ely,Ben, and Steve. Hopefully I'll be able to make it up to a few matches this summer. That snow's for the birds...
  16. It's a stock guide rod, with 3 washers on the base in between the spring and back of the guiderod. 2 nylon washers and 1 rubber. It's a 15 lb ISMI flat wound spring, and I'm shooting 180 grainers at a174-175 PF. I think the issue is spring bind before the end of the slides travel due to the shorter space on the guiderod from the washers. I would assume this is too much force for the plastic guiderod to take. Does anyone have a better solution than the Shock buf? I might have to bite the bullet and buy a case of the damn things. Thanks
  17. What's the trick to the shock-buff issue? I've been using plastic and rubber washers on the guide rod w/ a ismi flat spring to stop frame/slide bashing. I just broke my third guiderod in under 1000 rounds, something is up. I need a new idea!!! Thanks ps. Sorry for the thread drift, if you'd like to pm me that's good too. Thanks
  18. Well I'mback from the range, got to follow around manny bragg, angus hobdell, and dave sevigney which was really neat, rained a lot at one point, dried up for the most part around noon I think. Should be a really fun match, I'm also hoping to get some video to put up on youtube also. can't complain about the weather either, just sat by the pool reading a book smokin a stogie, can't do that in Vermont right now!!!
  19. Yeah unfortunately I'm going to be moving down to NJ soon after getting home from the Open. I found out with very little notice, couldn't be worse timing. I just booked my flight to the Double Tap also w/ Steve, Elye, and his dad also at the end of March. Oh well, I'll be at the Feb match, and that will probably be the last one for a while. I'll see you in Florida hopefully. Andy, you're leavin us? Say it ain't so!
  20. I'd definitely be interested in meeting up with some BEnosers, especially one from Jersey!! I just found out I'm moving back down there March 1st, and need to plan where I'm gonna be shooting all year. I'm staying at the green gables, from friday night until Sunday, I'll be the young guy(23) all by himself cause his friends are lazy. Beers sound good right now, it's cold in VT. I can't wait to get down to some warm weather. YAY!!!!!
  21. I love the fact that you took the initiative to take a picture while driving just to show us on BE. Fantastic!!!!! I want mine to say GMORBST. Soon, soon....
  22. This is also my first time shooting the Open, I'll be hanging out at the Green Gables Should at the very least be warmer than Vermont...
  23. Just shot this yesterday C-class Limited shooter, 7.97 clean for a 12.54 HF. Puts me just over 75% on the Ohio Calc. Maybe I'll just skip B and go right to A, haha.
  24. So what, is this just the thread for you guys to gloat??? I'm just jealous....
  25. Also, I'm pretty sure that when I said I was with the Open, the Green Gables was under 60 a night. Might be worth checking it out. Good luck.
