Street Survival
Hi Steve, That is the problem, I don't know where to look? I have bought all my Moly Coated Heads from Bear Creek Supply, but now I need something cleaner. Any tips will be much appreciated.
johnsons1480
Call Bayou Bullets. I think he does free shipping after 4 cases. http://bayoubullets.net/
Sarge
Black bullets international Bayou bullets SNS casting added ibejihead bullets(no that's not a typo) Also consider testing some Extreme plated bullets. They are more expensive but not as much as jacketed if you buy a bunch of them. Absolutely no smoke though. kneelingatlas
Also consider testing some Extreme plated bullets. Street Survival
I just got off the phone with Steve from Bear Creek Supply. I was explaining that I have used their Moly Coated Heads for years with Unique Gunpowder. I just switched over to an M&P 45 with a fiber optic sight and the sight gets all smogged over with the aforementioned recipe. Steve told me it's the Unique Gunpowder, not the Moly Coated Heads. What do you guys think? Legit or bull-hit?
Solvability
Moly smokes more than the polymer or plated - it just does - some powders make it worse.

bowenbuilt
You might also try ACME in Wisconsin. They just introduced a groovless 230 grain Hy-Tech coated .45 ACP bullet that I have been testing for several weeks. Also Blue Bullets offers some great discounts on bulk bullets. www.thebluebullets.com www.acmebullet.com
wgj3
Might also look at Falcon Bullets fal-coated projectiles. Another coated option and David takes good care of his customers as well.

aceinyerface
Bayou bullets will throw you a discount if you order over 10000.
Street Survival
Right now they are the price leader in High Tek Finish Bullets.
aceinyerface
Well, Black and Blue is actually cheaper by a hair. http://www.blackandbluebullets.com/ My only complaint with B&B is the 147 grooveless has to seat too deeply to pass the plunk test and I get some buldging at the base of the projectile. But they have the groove profile 147 as well.
2MoreChains
I just got off the phone with Steve from Bear Creek Supply. I just switched over to an M&P 45 with a fiber optic sight and the sight gets all smogged over with the aforementioned recipe. Steve told me it's the Unique Gunpowder, not the Moly Coated Heads. What do you guys think? Legit or bull-hit? I used to use Bear Creek bullets quite a bit. Only reason I switched is because a local company started offering bullet with the hi-tek coating. My main go-to powder was Hodgdon Clays or VV N310. Fairly clean shooting, minimal smoke. Do not recall getting soot on my fiber optic front sight. I would suggest trying another powder and see if that cleans things up for you.
dave33
You might want to call lucky13 cast bullets. I would think they would do something for a large order like that, and their zombie green coated bullets are as good as anything I've used.
