DinosaurMikeGolf
Tommy, Tac Optics. Had major surgery in July on my upper right chest and now I shoot long guns left handed. I'm not ready to try a Garand left handed yet.
Tommy T
Frank, I wish you a speedy recovery, and good luck with your left-handed endeavor! I'm shooting Tac Heavy my own self. :-)
DinosaurMikeGolf
Tommy, thanks. The hardest part, to me, is thinking shooting left handed in competition after so many years of shooting right handed. It's a major mental adjustment.
CopperheadCreek
Hey All Competitors, I sent out the first week's registration confirmations last night so let me know if you didn't get it after checking your bulk mail folders. If you have friends that want to compete in this awesome match, let them know we confirmed over half the slots in the first couple of days. Only 2 1/2 squads remain open for the AM/PM/AM start times. The stages are coming together and I hear they're a lot like playing chess, what move will be the best?

Cyclic
Doug you doing the RO thing or regular shooter?
Fullauto_Shooter
Probably just regular shooter. I don't have a lot of vacation time built up with my new job - so ROing on traditional workdays may be hard.
Cyclic
Then you might want to put in for squading with me and Jim.

CJW
Can anyone recommend a local place in the Austin area to buy birdshot (Win AA) after I fly in? Edited February 24, 2015 by CJW
AustinWolv
Can anyone recommend a local place in the Austin area to buy birdshot (Win AA) after I fly in? I'd say Academy sports stores. The one in Cedar Park had multiple cases of it on aisle racks just the other day when I was there, but plenty of individual boxes on the shelves. jtielke
Academy and Wal-Mart should both have AA at a decent price. There are a couple of both on 290/71 between the airport and the range.
