Any reply to this inquiry? I wonder the same thing? Vehicles, carts or even little red wagons? What's appropriate? TT- 90 replies

2016 Fallen Brethren 3Gun Challenge

Any update on the stages being posted? I'm not seeing them, but I may not be looking in the right place (http://fb3gun.com/stages). TIA, Tommy -
Jason, I am having the exact same problem with my M2 that I think I see in videos #1 & #3, with the bolt satying back while the next round lies on the elevator. There were a lot of suggestions flying around in the thread, to the point that I'm not sure which action actually fixed the issue. I'd very much like to hear exactly, in your opinion, what you did to make that particular problem go away. Because I need to try it. I'm following the thread, and I hope you can find time to lay it out for us. TIA, Tommy Teas

One of the guys on my squad (7) found a sling on the ground next to his shooting bag when we finished a stage on Sunday. I think it was stage 6, but I won't swear to it. He was asking around, trying to find the owner, but I don't know if he did. I saw the sling, and think it was black, but I didn't look closely at it. PM me and I'll try to help you get in contact with him, if you like. TT

Just to confirm: Registration opens at 1900 Central Time? TIA, Tommy -
Could a match official please answer this question? Does rule 6.1.1.4, which states "Heavy Tac Ops and Heavy Metal divisions will require only 1 hit inside the scoring area to nuetralize", apply to the pistol as well as the rifle? Especially since the pistol can be a hi-cap 9? TIA for the clarification. Looking forward to seeing everybody next week and shooting the match! Tommy

Whatever happenned to the old saying, "The only dumb question is the one that doesn't get asked"? It's not impossible to overlook something in, or misinterpret, the written rules. Better to ask for clarification than to make an assumption, and discover that it's false when the RO starts marking penalties on your score sheet. Hence the request for clarification/confirmation: Rule 6.1.1.4 states "Heavy Tac Ops and Heavy Metal divisions will require only 1 hit inside the scoring area to nuetralize." Does that rule apply to pistol as well as rifle (especially since the pistol, in Heavy Tac Ops, can be a high-cap 9)? That is a perfectly valid question, and one I wonder about myself since I am shooting in that division. And all you guys can offer is, "Go read the rules"? It was reading the rules that precipitated the question in the first place! What needs to happen is for a match official to chime in here and offer an authoritative answer to this legitimate question. There! I'll get off my soap box. :-) Looking forward to seeing everybody and shooting the match! Tommy

It was a great match; great RO's, great venue, well run, well organized and a great prize table! I loved the half-day format! I will definitely shoot this match again next year! :-) Now, a question: Were there any T-shirts left over? If so, please put me in contact with somebody that can sell me a couple more. My bride already jacked the one I brought home... :-) Tommy
