Nimitz
Prior to picking up competitive shooting in 2012 I was into competitive offshore fishing, complete with a 35' Luhrs flybridge sporting fishing boat. It had twin 350 Cat desiels with a 400 gal fuel tank .... My wife never complains about what I spend on competitive shooting ...

Nik Habicht
so I ordered a pretty nice precision rifle. deposit of $800 hit the credit card statement. wifey scolded me and asked me what it was. I didn't have the heart (or courage) to tell her it was ONLY the deposit, so I said I bought another gun and of course she wasn't happy that another $800 gun was going into the safe... not sure what i'll do when the balance hits... keep us updated Your wife reads your mail or checks on your bank accounts? Really? We find that telling each other what we're doing works......
davsco
no i gladly let her pay the bills because i don't feel like dealing with the hassle, so of course she sees the bills and no one is hiding anything from the other. i just had to keep from laughing cuz what she was complaining about was the tip of the iceberg. but thanks for the judgmental note that didn't add anything to this thread. clawson2011
My ex-wife blew a gasket when she saw the bill for the custom limited gun. Damn near dropped dead the next day when i had her served with divorce papers citing irreconcilable differences. She got exactly what she deserved. Now I have to decide how to spend half her retirement fund that I got in the divorce. Anyone say New Limited backup and 1050 is a good option?
