cjfung10
Hope this is where I can post this sort of thing...but anyone need or interested in a small frame witness 9mm conversion kit? (complete top-end with a couple 10rd EAA factory mags that are virtually brand new). Finish has seen its days (not super worn or anything, just standard wear on a 15+ year old top end) but the rifling of the barrel looks great. http://i1007.photobucket.com/albums/af198/cjfung10/IMG_1420.jpg http://i1007.photobucket.com/albums/af198/cjfung10/IMG_1381.jpg http://i1007.photobucket.com/albums/af198/cjfung10/IMG_1378.jpg http://i1007.photobucket.com/albums/af198/cjfung10/IMG_1417.jpg http://i1007.photobucket.com/albums/af198/cjfung10/IMG_1419.jpg http://i1007.photobucket.com/albums/af198/cjfung10/IMG_1416.jpg http://i1007.photobucket.com/albums/af198/cjfung10/IMG_1418.jpg Edited January 3, 2014 by cjfung10

kneelingatlas
Does anyone have an extra Match rear sight rolling around their parts bin?
Vanniek71
Ime going to have a Limited sight here soon not sure if it will fit the match or not
kneelingatlas
Unfortunately the Match dovetail is a Novak style and has a larger dovetail than the others. It is the same size (or close enough to it) as the Baby Eagle II rear and the newer Witness steel pistols:
kneelingatlas
Speaking of sights, I started putting together a list of sight sizes: Tanfoglio: -standard - 0.340" -Super Sight - 0.344" -Match/new style standard - 0.460" CZ: -standard - 0.378" -TS -0.365" 1911/2011: -stadard - 0.3543" -Novak - 0.490" Feel free to add/correct as necessary. Mlussoro
kneelingatlas.... so the supersight off the limited models wont work on the above pict'd gun? what can i use? im trying to upgrade my sights im having a fiber installed on the front but the rear is HORRIBLE to say the least? any thoughts ? would it be easier to find a new slide that already has this sight on it? kneelingatlas
Mlussoro, If I understand correctly, you have a steel Witness with a plain front sight which is permanently attached to the slide like the one above which you plan to have milled into a fiber optic front? or are you milling off the front and cutting a dovetail to fit a standard FO front? Mlussoro
im milling off the front sight and deciding either dovetail, or i found some fiber sights that are drill and tap with set screw. either way local smith has either or its at the shop now? problem i may have with dove tail is that my slide is ported and it would be really close with the dove tail, thats the reason we talked about the drill and tap version. BeerBaron
That is sexual chocolate! Love the all black. Love the 90 degree cmore mount. Love the comp. would make an awesome steel challenge gun. With the short slide and frame it would be super fast target to target.
zsavage81
I am working on a stock 3 compensated along with tuning up the trigger and adding a magwell. I tried a few weeks back to get a hunter top end but they called back saying they couldn't get me the slide. I had visions of a longslide two 10mm blaster with tirjicon rmr riding the slide.Dugiv, is your Stock III large framed?!?You're outside the US right? The only Stock IIIs I've heard of stateside are small framed, ergo not convert able to 10mm, 45 or 38super. I just had 2 large frame stock III's come through my shop, they do exist! kneelingatlas
Are they .40s? If so they'd make some sweet Limited rigs! So how do we buy them?!?
Workingspy
We can buy large frame stock 3's in .40 up here, they are custom order but we can get them. My friend and I are looking to buy one, he needs the frame and I want a .40 upper for my limited build. Cheers, Evan
BeerBaron
That's interesting. Here in Australia we got small frame stock ii's (9mm) and large frame stock ii's (38 super). So far the stock iii's have all been small frame 9mm.
kneelingatlas
It occurred to me last night there are no basket cases in my safe at the moment There are some loose barrels/slides rolling around in there, but at least every frame is a fully functional pistol! Very cool! Now which is your favorite? From an ergonomic and accuracy standpoint, is their much of a differance between CZ and Tangfolio pistols?
