I'd bet a 1/2 years salary that he's going to win that division.

That's a lot of money Steven... Cat is gonna kill ya if you loose. :roflol:

Ha Ha!! Or it's going to be a REALLY BIG pay day for me... Just think of what I could get her with my winnings (58.00 in all for a 1/2yrs salary). :-)

I just dont see how anybody can bet against Dave in the production match. I'd bet a 1/2 years salary that he's going to win that division.

Am I missing something here or?

I don't think you are missing anything. (Though Dave is no longer with Glock.)

Dave was tearing up matches this year.

He and Vogel are really good, and really consistent. Either are a threat to win any match.

Stoeger. I am going to start calling him "Mr. Alpha". He gets it. And, can get it done.

TGO in Production is a spoiler. (maybe his new gun won't make weight or something)

Revo... If Jerry makes Major, and keeps his gun clean and tuned...he is still the favorite. There are enough good shooters now that they can win some stages, and chip away at his safety margin.

Nobody is where they can just flat "beat Jerry". If that is their focus, then they will have an uphill battle. If they focus on their own game...and shoot clean...then there is a good chance.

Jerry focus = lose.

Alpha focus = win.

Good luck Matt!

I believe TGO lost to Dave first non-Production championship. Was it Tulsa where TGO arrived unannounced and won Production that year.

My suggestion is to never count TGO out of any match.

If Sara D is shooting, I would bet on her also.

Cody gets to shoot in a very competitive environment every week.

You might want to make sure Rob Leatham's not shooting Production.....

2006, in Tulsa, IIRC.....

Anything can happen at Nats.....

Max Michel has finished the USPSA Nationals early, and with good reason. Max led the Open division afterday three witha score of 1375.4184. But last night Max learned his wife went into labor. A few late night phone calls, and some quick work by the USPSA range staff, and Max shot his remaining stages first thing this morning before racing to the airport to make it back home to see his wife and meet his new baby girl. Max's current score is 1751+ and he's in good position to win the title. Of course, he'll probably tell you that doesn't matter at the moment.

Congratulations to Max and his wife.

USPSA Open Nationals update: This morning I went into Day 3 with a pretty big point deficit which worsened following a severe, match nuking malfunction on our second stage. There are four stages remaining so I can only expect a Top 16 finish at this point. Im not sure of the point spread but many of the Open division regulars are shooting well. It should be a good final day tomorrow afternoon

That's great for Max. I saw him on the range today around 8:00ish, knowing that the Open Super Squad was scheduled to shoot in the afternoon. I didn't know about the baby and the resulting schedule shift and I thought, "Man, that's how you win championships. This guy isn't supposed to shoot for another few hours, and look how early he's on the range!"
