whitedog
Yup. My dad bought 5k worth at the ipo. That and Microsoft. As a side note he also bought Disney, when the first park opened. He was a smart man. As where you.
Shadowrider
Wow. Congrats! I thought Apple was overpriced back when it passed $110. Watched Starbucks stay basically flat for a long time too while the analysts were saying buy. What a doofus I am... But I'm up 260% on a pipeline stock I bought solely for the 25% dividend back when everything was in the crapper (when the DOW went from 14000+ straight into the toilet) and I couldn't find a single stock that I wanted to buy. I had no idea it would do that when I bought it, but it goes to show that even a blind squirrel can find a nut once in awhile. I've done just okay with my other stuff and I've got some energy stocks scoped out that I'm gonna pounce on soon. 5 years from now I think I might be able to retire to a lakehouse somewhere. Flexmoney
Nice. And now a funny quote... "Lieutenant Dan got me invested in some kind of fruit company. So then I got a call from him, saying we don't have to worry about money no more."

gm iprod
The magic trick is to know when to sell. What you really need is the damn things to swing between $300 and $600 once a year!!!!!
