  1. Went with a vortex pst 1-6. Not a FFP but It will get the job done on the budget.
  2. I’m searching for a scope similar to my Swarovski 1-6 brt-I reticle. I would love to buy another Swarovski but I don't want to spend 2k. So does anyone know of a scope that has the illuminated red dot and not other parts of the reticle?
  3. Yeah at the time I was competing a lot and bought as much as I could. Guess I’ll do some load development for my 9mm
  4. Thanks. I assumed It was to hot and my quick search lead me to It being a shotgun powder.
  5. Im sitting on 18 pounds of IMR SR 7625 that I used with my 38SC open pistol. I don’t compete anymore and with the way things are these days I’m looking for alternative powder uses. Currently I only reload 5.56, 9mm and 300 blackout. What cartridge should I adopt to use this powder?
  6. Before I ruin my stock.... My goal is to make the telescoping stock a single pull to the full open position. Who even uses the first (middle/half open) position. It’s pretty annoying having to press the button the releases the stock to slide open twice in my opinion. So my question is, is It possible or has anyone ground the first notch to allow the stock to bypass that position?
  7. Called Dillon yesterday and apparently Monday's are not the day you want to call! 46 minutes waiting for a rep but they got me fixed up with a new indexing arm and a couple of springs. Hopefully that will fix my problem. Thanks for the help!
  8. I don’t have a spare spring but stretched It out some and It worked good. Out of 250 rounds after I stretched It, I had to manually index It 8 times. I also played with going faster on the down stroke and that seemed to help as well. Appears I need a new spring.
  9. Is It possible for the rotary primer disk to go bad? My press has probably 10-15,000 rounds through It. The primer indexing arm is getting hung up. Edit: I did take It completely apart to clean. I loaded about 100 rounds with no issues but then It started hanging up. I took It apart again and flipped the rotary primer disk and lightly oiled with motor oil. This did not help. Edit 2: I stretched the indexing arm spring out and It worked substantially better. It appears I need a new spring.
  10. Looks like I’m going to start from mag length and work my way to the lands and grooves and see how that goes.
  11. Thanks for the help. It’s a Berger 140 hybrid.
  12. Fire formed brass in my Bergara 6.5 Creedmoor. Looks like the throat is long. Am I going to have to little neck to bullet contact even in I seat in another .002 deeper. Marked It with a sharpie for a visual.
  13. I’m just now getting into precision shooting from 3 gunning, but I run a SDN6.
  14. Could someone point me in the right direction on what states it's legal to kill hogs from the sky in. I'm a commercial helicopter pilot and I have family members that own ranches in LA, GA and AL. I have been told it's regulated by state law but it's hard to find anything other than Texas regs.
  15. I bought a CED M2 Chronograph a few years ago and Im just now getting around to using it. Is there anything out there that makes it compatible with a Mac? Pretty sure this thing isn't even compatible with widows anymore.... but its worth a shot HA! no pun intended
  16. Haven't been on the fourm for a couple of years... but I recently moved to Cedar City Utah and I was curious if anybody knows if there are any 3 gun matches in the Cedar City/St. George Location.
  17. I wish I could buy the patience...thanks
  18. can someone point me to a place that has a solid parts list to build and fit a 1911? quick search didn't reveal anything of use. looking at a caspian frame and slide but mostly need to know the internals and little parts i would forget about
  19. no just something to shoot. she hates shooting paper and likes to shoot steel. I handled the 4.25 M&P CORE and I like it. The slide was fairly easy to manipulate and I wont have to pay extra $$$ to have the slide milled or buy and adaptor.
  20. I bought her the LCP with the Crimson Trace Laser. She likes the laser but hates the gun...I hate it too.... she wants something thats easier to aim and be able to shoot steel with me. She asked for a red dot and some ammo so Im gonna give her what she wants.
  21. no budget... thats kinda what i was hoping to build, but the RMR is pretty wide. JPoint seems to be the thinest at 1" and from what I could find the 42's slide is .836 so there would be a little overhang
  22. The issue is she isn't very strong and has small hands so manipulating the slide is the major concern. She has a Walther P22 and PK 380 and can work the slide pretty easily. She cannot work the slide on my XDM 40 or XDS 45... She also isn't very comfortable handling guns in front of people, especially a bunch of dudes in a store... im just going to have to play with a couple and see what I think she will like. Worst case, I get a new gun!
  23. Ok I'll go fondle a few. Thanks for the info
