SinistralRifleman
Can a shotgun shoot that many slugs in 3 days without blowing up? There's a reason I'm bringing two. Historically broken shotgun is the number 1 reason for people dropping out of trooper.

Religious Shooter
Stage 4B says 30 Rifle. 4B is usually the zip line. Is that a typo? If it is... I guess I'm not going to use my 22".

Doug H.
Do I understand the Limited division correctly that red dots are not allowed on the rifle? Irons only? From the MGM Ironman website: •Limited Class - No magnified optics, speed loaders, or bipods. Non magnified red dot scopes will be allowed in this class. gose
Target Not Engaged (TNE)= 10 seconds penalty for not making the minimum two hits anywhere on the target plus 5 seconds, per target, for the TNE PROCEDURAL for a total penalty of 20 seconds per target added to time. I dont really understand this... 10s + 5s / target doesnt add up to 20s on my calculator. Is it one procedural penalty / missing shot, ie 2*5s, or is it really 15s / TNE? further down the rules it says 8.1.8 Failure to engage a frangible, knock down or swinging style target will result in an 20 second penalty. So I assume the correct penalty for a TNE is 20s, but I just dont understand how to get to that Also, from what I can read from the rules (with my obviously limited reading comprehension), its 10s penalty if you shoot at a flying clay but miss it and 20s if you dont get a shot off at it, right? Unfortunately that contradicts my earlier 10s + 2*5s guess for the 20s TNE.. so I'm all confused now... Edited May 9, 2011 by gose

If it comes out right, this is an actual scoresheet from this year. Im a one man show here so getting the website to match the scorecards will happen...at a later date. FTN - 5sec pen. (1 C or D hit only on paper) Complete miss - 10 sec pen. (no hits on paper) Clay/steel FTN - 10sec pen. (shot at and missed) No Shoot - 20 sec pen.(penalty per hole in NS) Failure to Engage - 20 sec. pen. (Paper/steel/clay was not shot at) Bonus -5 (hit on "door" portion of Flag or PRT target) Bonus -15 (steel farther than 500y, pistol poker chip, etc.) Penalty +300 (Slug/rifle on steel, failure to perform required challenge, etc) Edited May 9, 2011 by tgibson

Tyro Shooter
So acording to Travis's last update for the ammo load out. (Minus one stage) This is what I'm planing to bring out for Scope Tac 600 Rifle 50 LR Rifle 500 Pistol 350 Birdshot 200 slugs and assorted 00 buck and #4 magnums (spins the double spinners real well) thinking that this should cover a reshoot or two. . . plus the normal amount that i seem to miss per stage Edited May 12, 2011 by Tyro Shooter

Religious Shooter
You know, we CAN zipline with a rifle. It would be fun and different. I guess you got your wish. 4B now says 24 rifle and 6 bonus pistol. I'm guessing we use our rifle while going down the zip line. Then we transition to pistol for the bonus targets. Bring a sling.
