Jaxshooter
I was under the impression that some trigger parts had to be changed when switching to an SV metal grip. Unlike the STI that you just change only the grip and use the current internals.
PeterMor
Have you tried contacting SV and asking them?
RangerTrace
According to the article in Front Sight, it is NOT a drop in part. And, I do believe you will need more parts than just the grip and screws. They're heavy, but I really like the feel of the new signature grip

SkyScrapin
Call SVI. When I was looking at the stainless grip, it required a new parts kit. I believe it was something like $200-250. I could be a little high on that price, but not by much. Preston

Pezco
I talked with Brandon about this procedure with one of my SV Limited guns and he recommended sending it to SV and the work would be done for free, my gun was build by SV.
pjb45
How typical of SV. They are great! When I changed out my mag release before I went to the Stainless Steel grip, Brandon, had me ship the grip to them. They returned it in less than 48 hours, no charge. I really like my new stainless steel grip. Now I need two more for my other SV guns!
Julien Boit
I installed one on my training gun. The kit came with the trigger bow, mainspring housing, magwell, mag release and pins. All I had to put was a trigger insert.
fasteddy
Hi Everyone, Grip already been installed and it is really nice and there is well defined difference on the balance of the gun..and I guess it takes a while to get use to it. fasteddy
Its worth changing from plastic to steel grip..noticed fast transition and seems not much wobble on my Dots and the balance from the front muzzle to the back is awesome..!

huesos
I talked with Brandon about this procedure with one of my SV Limited guns and he recommended sending it to SV and the work would be done for free, my gun was build by SV. Have you heard whether this new grip module will be available in a larger diameter? Somehow I think this may be too much to hope for.

Aircooled6racer
Hello: I know the trigger is different for the metal grips. The plastic grip does take a different trigger bar. Thanks, Eric
