  1. I wish I could still hear crickets Jim
  2. It only seems to happen to me at three gun matches, three dots to turn on I am able to remember to turn on the ONE dot, at a pistol match....at least for now Jim
  3. Because some control type people enjoy pressing their opinions on others. Just go shoot, the way you like, and let others do the same. Jim
  4. He is yelling right along with the shooting. It was very bad during the shotgun shoot because he was right next to the red team. The blue team was on the other side of us so they couldn't hear him very well. He was standing about 10 feet away from out firing point yelling, "and Cliff misses again." That was hard to deal with. I did not see Cliff miss very many Jim

  6. I know that smell A few weeks ago, when I turned the swamp cooler in my shop on, I made a rather loud TING sound Several days later, when I returned home from a trip, It stunk BIG TIME Turned out a medium size rattle snake got whacked by the squirrel cage, and was dead in the bottom. I am not pleased snakes are climbing into my cooler Unwanted critters have an uncanny way of getting places they don"t belong Jim
  7. The last time I talked to an (operator) It was to get a phone number Jim

  9. Prayers for you and your family, from the Lamberts Jim
  10. The only actual firearm I have seen them (build), not butcher...was a prison quality zip gun to shoot gators with. I know so many masterful smiths and machinists, that watching the (show) makes me just plain sick. It may make money, and it may be entertainment, but I dont think it shows gun owners or shooters in a respectful light! It also shows nothing of the true craftsmanship that is so evedent in the real gunsmithing trade. It may be that this show will improve, and start doing things that better represent us. But untill then.... I will pass Jim
  11. Im late but that normal Happy day Flex! revel in your youth, while it lasts Jim

  15. Now Kids...play nice I tested the 1919 quite a bit over the last few days, We have a low serial # gun and a high serial# gun The QC is qetting better, and the newer mags seem better as well It weighs 6.2 lbs and my Saiga is at 8.4 The recoil is a little stiff in comparison, but when it gets dressed in an AR butstock and has a few goodies I think it will tame down I reamed the forcing cone out and it helped as well, it has a rather abrupt step at the forcing cone. The void under the trigger should be filled with lead shot mixed with epoxy, this will solidify the lower a little and add needed weight to the lower. Porting will also tame it down a bunch It shoots slugs pretty well, and after a little tuning shoots low recoil and light loads well. The next batch of guns that will come in will have the error in the rail corrected as well. I will soon have ATF922r compliant parts in hand, so 10 rnd mags will be legal A little tweek and the 3" mags work fine Our mag coupler is about done. so big mags are a short time away. I hope to run one at USPSA Nats if all the parts are done in time Thanks to Big K for sending his gun for prototyping. It has been sliced and diced and up on the optical table for dimensions Having it allowed me to design all the trigger group parts as well as having a test bed for comps and handguards Speaking of hand guards, we have both a quad rail and smooth version drawn up and going to proto...you gunna like em I now return you to the scheduled smack talk Jim

  18. While testing a pistol load...we had a squib Now after untold thousands of rounds loaded on my 1050, only one event with squibs, broke a powder measure and dropped 2 or 3 in a bin of 500...that was no fun But today...several squibs....the press checked out just fine, what could cause this?? Well it seems some little June bugs got into the brass feeder, and got loaded into some rounds The bug (squished by the deprimer) is indeed enough to prevent the powder from ignition. At least the press is working as it should....we just had to work the bugs out A press cover may be a good idea Jim
