  1. Are you sure about your technique? It is common problem when you do not lock your shooting hand wrist. I should look problems in technique first. Give your Glock to expirienced shooter to shoot some groups. Thanks. I've been shooting handguns for 30 years and Glocks for 15 years and this is the only time I've ever had this problem. I put 20 rounds from the G34 into a 4" group at 20 yards when I was sighting it in shooting offhand to start, so I'm pretty sure it's not my technique. I'm usually the one that people give their gun to when they are having problems. This is good answer, but then, what is your front sight tall?

  3. Good thread related with it: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...amp;hl=patience
  4. Fantastic proposal! You pay some money now, but you will save a lot of money and time in the future perspective.
  5. j1b killer post! Thank you! You made a "click" for me!
  6. "Slow down" for second shot is bad advice, and it has nothing to do with poster's problem. I should look for problems in grip, stance, trigering an follow thgrough... Who said shooting is easy!?
  7. A few new products from STI:
  8. Good thread. Some time ago I made a little experiment. I shot one match concentrating on speed and another concentraiting on accuracy. Overall placement was maybe about the same, but second way was mentally more confortable, but... after some time I realised that you can not concentrate on one or other thing. What I realised some time ago you can read in this very good observation by very good shooter: http://robleatham.com/blog/2009/01/08/what-is-fast/ Sooner or later you will find it!
  9. Steve, it is better than none. By the way, I found Rob's blog on his site: http://robleatham.com/blog/ might be interesting.
  10. As saying goes: THIS THREAD IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICS!!! :)
  11. http://www.youtube.com/robleatham By the way, what it is "Enos factor"?
  12. Well, I would like to see more stuff related to shooting here. I see less and less topics about shooting techniques, tactics, psichology in this sport everyday. I hate it!
  13. Amazing last lap!!! It is just FANTASTIC!!!
  14. I don't know why, but after I saw this thread I remembered this video: This thread is useless...
  15. Really?! I can't believe you said that! In my opinion mandatory reloads should be in Production division only. It might be as a test, don't forget that IPSC PRD div. list have more than 300 guns and nowdays I see people shooting with CZ SP-01 and clones, Glock G17 and maybe SIG X Allaround. This rule will make more guns compettitive and this is main purpose. Why do you sream NO even didn't tried it? Rules are rules they are changing time to time.
  16. YES!!! It will give more tactical choices to solve CoF.
  17. Yes it is common practice to use tyres in matches here in Europe. No, shoting will not cause ricochets. We use them in indoor matches a lot. You can look here:
  18. Good thread! For me it is better time if you are shooting when entering in to position, I cheked it with timer, but it depends. If you are confident with your hits, then you will have a big advantage when you are entering position on hard target, and if you will miss it is not so big problem, but if you will miss on leaving from position you are in big problem, because then you will need to stop lean back make a shot and go out and it is very time costly. Other question. Is it wise to look on easy target to enter and easy target to exit if you break an order in an array if there are no activators or moving targets? Will your bigger transitions be faster than shooting setled in position and then going out without leaning?

  22. It is a little bit strange that no one mentioned Eric Grauffel here as one of the best stage strategist?! Actualy he is THE BEST! For me he is number 1 strategist in the world, no one can compare with him even nowdays. I think if you will have poor startegy skills you will not be unbeaten for 10 years... I do agree, that your strategy should be based on your level skill, but it is nothing special. If you want to be on top for so long you should further and to know weakness and strenghts of your fellow competitors also and your strategy may change even deppending on shooting range ground layout and can look strange from side. I also admire Todd Jarret. I saw couple of stages shoot by him differently in Open on video , that are very brave decissions, based on skills and expirience. That is why he is nr 2 in the World. Nr. 3 is TGO, he is not so fast, but very smart shooter with perfect skills on demand.
  23. Congratulations! It is all about fundamentals, no matter what division you are shooting...
